Dos Burros is a two bedroom two bath home that is perfect for the smaller family wanting to experience the Frio River. With an open floor plan in the kitchen and living room this home offers a comfortable space for the family along with large bedrooms. Outside offers a lot of area for playing games and chilling under the shade trees when trying to beat the Texas heat. This house sits about a mile from a couple river accesses. If you are looking for a getaway for just your family this home offers the comfort you are looking for.

This home comes with a parking pass for river access. It is about a 100 yard walk from parking to Seven Bluff Crossing. You can drop your stuff by the river and then go park.

Upon arriving in the beautiful Hill country, we were pleasantly surprised the neighborhood was on the popular River Road with destinations within walking distance, yet far back enough from the road we did not hear any disruptions, traffic, etc. It was such a cute little neighborhood, and I love taking a walk in the morning. My kids loved the scenery and the huge trees to climb and the overall character of the house. Deer can be spotted in the morning and evenings, AC worked GREAT, the house had all the accommodations described in the listing. Would definitely visit again, next time for at least four days!

The actual place was lovely; Well maintained, lots of shade, lots of room, clean, comfortable, up to date, plenty of amenities. The problem was that the listing said a 5 minute WALK to the river...so we came in planning on that scenario, and had to do quite a bit of regrouping, as it was not a 5 minute WALK to the river...it was a DRIVE to the river, along with an additional 5 minute walk to the river. We were quite disappointed and confused in the beginning, but we did not let it ruin our trip. We enjoyed our stay, and after we adjusted to the new plan, it was all okay.

Great property for a small group

House was just as described. It was clean and well furnished. Communication with property manager was great. Fast responses. Would definitely recommend this property for your weekend getaway.

Superb cozy cabin!

Cozy and exceptionally clean. The space was functional and perfect for a family of 4, 5 or 6. The basics were provided to make for a fun and exciting glamping experience. Great location not too close or far from all the area amenities. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

We were not able to make it due to the natural disaster flood that was happening in Kerr County. However the Host was amazing and understanding and allow us to reschedule our trip

SHIP OFF RIVER TRIP

SUCH A DELIGHTFUL STAY. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND READY FOR OUR ARRIVAL. THE HOST WAS ON POINT WITH COMMUNICATION. THIS WAS OUR SONS LAST RIVER TRIP BEFORE SHIPPING OFF TO THE MILITARY. WE HAD SO MUCH FUN. WILL DEFINATELY BOOK AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Comfortable Home in Beautiful Area

The property was clean and well-stocked - on a beautiful wooded lot in a quiet neighborhood. We opted to rent the bed linens and towels for $10 per bed ($50 total), which was well worth it. Communication with the property manager was easy and quick. We went for the eclipse and didn't get out much, but Concan seems like a fun resort area surrounded by lovely tree-covered hills. We would stay here again if we go back to explore the area some more.

Loved this rental

Never have I been able to say that the pictures and property description are not accurate IN A GOOD WAY ! This sweet house is so cute. So clean and comfortable. Again, the pictures don’t do it justice. You will be overly impressed! Another thing is the A/C was amazing. Can’t speak highly enough about it!

Perfect weekend!!

We arrived to the Dos Burros house and were immediately impressed! It is MUCH bigger than the photos portray. I love the set up with the master being “hidden” since had teenagers on the other side! Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed for cooking all weekend. We did find that we didn’t have a blow dryer, but I texted the Host and she ran one over right away to ensure our girls could get ready for the Garner dance! So sweet!! I also messaged her a few times for coffee shop recs and hours of operation for river access, and she was quick to help me with that too! So awesome having a resource that knows the area! Would def stay here again, only thing missing is a pool for the kids to hang in when they are over the river. Lol.
