My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.
Sleeps 6-9 – This 2 bedroom cabin offers a queen size bed, Full over Full bunk bed, & 3 Twins (Includes a trundle)  full kitchen, bath, heat & air, BBQ grill and picnic table.
This cabin includes the following:
Fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishes, and utensils to prepare meals.
BBQ pit and picnic table with grilling utensils.
Covered front porch with patio furniture to sit, chit chat, read or just do absolutely nothing but enjoy the beautiful Texas Hill Country views!
Each bed has a quilt, pillow(s) and a mattress protector.  You must BRING your own Towels, Sheets, & Pillowcases (Queen, 2 Fulls, & 3 Twins).
Free Wi-Fi - Country Wifi is for basic texting b/c phone service is not always great. It is not intended for working or downloading music/movies.
Satellite T.V.
  This cabin does NOT include the following:
Trash bags, zip lock bags, & Paper Products*** but we do supply you with ONE of the following to get you started: toilet paper, paper towel, trash bag, coffee. & sugar.

Super cute and clean cabin! It was perfect for our little family get away, the star view at night was breathtaking! They had everything you could think of including s’more skewers. We will definitely be returning for our next vacation.

We scheduled a last-minute vacay to celebrate my grandbaby turning 4. I found the perfect location! Cute, homey touches, everything we needed was already in place. Cabin was really clean and furnished with just about everything you could need including coffee. The window units worked great, both rooms had an fan as well. Beds were nice and comfortable also pillows provided are great (my pillows). Water heater works great and water get very hot! Location was great just a few miles from free river access and the Garner State Park. Good thing to know is there is only general stores not an actual supermarket so buy any specialty foods you enjoy beforehand.

Very homey cabin. Clean, AC definitely blows cold! Manager Andrea was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great location, convenient to Frio Valley Golf Course. Cool restaurants in the tiny town of Leakey, TX.

The Whiskey Mountain cabins have been my favorite place to stay in the Leakey, TX area. Ihave stayed several times in different cabins. The cabins are very clean and cozy. It's conveniently located between Leakey and Garner State Park. The hosts are extremely accommodating and responsive to any needs you have.

Great getaway location

Stayed over valentines weekend and close location to Garner state park was a bonus. Enjoyed the fire pit at night. The cabin is rustic, but clean and comfy.

We loved our stay at Whiskey Mountain! The cabin was just what we needed and the perfect getaway for our time there. Having a kitchen for home cooked meals and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise made the weekend extra special. The cabin was close to things too, like restaurants, the market, and awesome things to check out. If I’m ever back this way I will definitely be checking into whiskey mountain again! Thank you!

It was an enjoyable stay

It was exactly what we wanted. Close enough to everything we wanted to visit. It was clean and cool with plenty of hot water.

My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.

My place is close to Garner State Park (3 Miles), Lost Maples Park, Frio River, Concan, Utopia, Kerrville, & Uvalde. The famous three sisters (best driving roads in the USA) You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets), Pets are an additional $15 per pet, per night.

Only 2 miles - There is Happy Hollow tube rentals & shuttle. You take a right out of property & You park there and they shuttle you for tubing.
Only 2 miles - The Washbarn is open 24 hrs - 7 Days a week, you take a left out of the property & it is on the right.
1/2 mile to Buckhorn Bar & Grill
For your convenience, there is a binder in the cabin with a map of all river access and parking details.
