Beautiful property. So many new things inside property. Absolutely beautiful views. 3rd bedroom with 2 twins is a warm room, but the rest of the condo made up for it. Very friendly community.

Our biggest issue was with communication between maintenance and property management management.

Reviewer Comments: Garden City Realty is my favorite company to do vacation rentals through because they respond promptly if any concerns arise during your stay. This specific condo offers zero steps for beach access which is a plus if traveling with mobility challenged individuals. Condo offers great space, perfect balcony and nearby two awesome piers!

Had an issue with dishwasher and garbage disposal but called Garden City and fixed early the next day.. and having an elevator is a plus!

Perfect Location, Condo Needs Help

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Seamaster is the perfect location! Just steps to the beach, which was beautiful and clean! The condo itself was less than desirable. The dishwasher did not work, the garage disposal did not work, the master shower door was broken, the coffee pot leaked and was not useable. While it was nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit, it is not vented properly, and makes the bedroom too hot to sleep in. The most disappointing thing about the unit was that it was not clean. We had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean it ourselves just to feel comfortable staying there.

Great Time in Garden City

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 8 (6 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful time in Garden City. Easy parking and access to the beach. Seamaster is next to a public access lot with a nice, convenient bathroom building in the lot. Elevators worked well. The 3 bedroom/3 bathroom condo was a bit dated but functional. The lights in the kitchen were out when we arrived and it took a few days for maintenance to change the main light fixture bulb as it was a unique kind of bulb. The light above the sink was still out when we left. The kitchen hot water is strange - you have to turn on the hot water in the hall bath for the kitchen water to get hot. Vertical blinds need some repair or replacement in the living room and master bedroom. The bedroom closest to the front door does not have a vent so it gets warm and the washter/dryer are in its bathroom, adding more heat. In the master bedroom bathroom, only one of the shower doors opens. So these are recommendations to the owner to take care of.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. Perfect location to the beach and other venues around the area. The keyless entry and no-contact arrival was great. The Garden City pier is about 3/4 mile down the road with great entertainment. The only improvement that we would suggest is to have more skillets available in the condo (a 1 serving and 2 serving sized skillet is not enough for a rental for 8 people). We cook all meals, so we had to get creative and meals took longer to prepare without larger skillets. Also—for awareness before booking: there are 51 stairs to the unit, right to the door. There is also elevator access and the complex has a dolly or 2 for luggage. If you use the elevator, you still have to descend 5-6 stairs to get to the unit’s door. That did not lend itself to easy entry because we had to unload everything from the dolly to get down those stairs. Overall, we would rent this unit again if we ever came back to Garden City Beach.

Great condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was perfect. The staff was so helpful when we had an "accidents happen" incident. Please be aware that some of the rooms are down 5 stairs once you get off the elevator, which can be a dealbreaker if you have access issues. Otherwise, it was all great!

Review of 315 Seamaster from September 11 through September 18

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our week at Seamaster. The unit is a bit dated and carpet needs to be replaced from the elevator to the front entrance in places. That being said the unit was clean and well stocked. A coffee pot was replaced while we were there with a brand new coffee pot. I found the garden city staff to be supportive and helpful when a piece of siding blue drain the tropical storm that we had and hit the hood of my car. That claim is still in process but Waccamaw management Has excepted responsibility for the repair. Hopefully they will not change on their commitment. If they do, I will let you know.

The condo itself met every need that we had during our stay. We loved having recliners. The washer and dryer in unit was a nice touch as well.

Garden City Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in other units in the Seamaster and this one was similar. The photos on the website are misleading. The furniture is soiled and dated. The electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. The pillow covers were stained and dirty. The front bedroom with twin beds does not have a vent for central air. The washer/dryer did not work properly. The view was great! The unit needs a good scrubbing and paint touch ups as well. The master bath needs hand rails in the shower. We left paper products, dish washing detergent and dishwasher detergent as well. Parking was tight and often not available due to the building renovations in the building next door. People off the street who were not owners or guests used the pool daily. Lots of teenagers who were not guests/owners at the Seamaster had a great time on us! The entire property needs updated. The hallways are slippery on the carpet after it rains. It's expensive for the dated building and units. The rocking chair was peeling on the balcony. Again, the view was great!

A Good Experience

One specialty was they had plenty of plates, glasses, cups and silverware!!! There were a couple housekeeping things that had to be fixed...but it was taken care of. We enjoyed our time.

Only complaint was they should leave some instructions on how to use the TV’s. Thank goodness the grandsons figured it out. Also, the Wi-Fi was very slow. (Ok, that was 2). Enjoyed it and would recommend.
