A well equipped home in a beautiful setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having a pontoon boat for our use was a plus. The home is spacious and feels like a home away from home.

Cozy cabin. Weekend getaway for multigenerational family. The grands were on the pullouts and slept well. We enjoyed playing games together on the large screened in porch as well as relaxing together at beach area. We caught a few catfish and bluegill off the pier for a little excitement. The location is close to local shopping and restaurants.

We loved Sweetwater and Lake Wylie. The house is perfect with all the amenities you need for a welcoming stay. The dock was lovely but the sandy beach was the best place to relax and hear the waves come in. And our dog loved the geese!

My first time at Sweetwater spent 9 days. Before arriving i anticipated a good stayand No surprises giving the fact that Georgia the host and I communicated several times leading up to my Travel. She is great and extremely responsive. The cabin although old enjoy its rustic charm and its location. Its well appointed , clean and functional has everything you need and more. Awesome location 18 miles to Uptown Charlotte for a nice night out yet Far enough removed and peaceful. Awesome lake views and just an all around great spot to enjoy. I plan to come back GeorgiaThank you Paul

The Sweetwater property was an amazing experience overall. The communication prior to our stay was excellent and flexible to meet our travel needs coming from 10 plus hours away with a 5 year old to make sure our trip was seamless! We spent the entire 6 days at the home on the dock and in the water feeling that we never needed to leave to fulfill the expectations of our 1st vacation of the summer. I’d recommend the Sweetwater property to anyone, you will not be disappointed!

We absolutely loved this rental. The beach area was great for family activities. Plenty of space to run around, swim, toss a ball around and have the fire pit going. The dock was great for fishing and older kids. The communication was easy and reply’s were prompt. Wish we had more days there.

This updated cottage was perfect for us and our dogs! The kitchen was well-equipped, bed was comfy and the screened porch was awesome! Everything was super clean throughout. Nice lake view, beach and dock. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Great location that felt like a private getaway, but close to anything we needed. The floor plan would work well for two couples or a family with kids. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Beautiful view! Easy access to the property with great parking. Georgia thank you for making it easy for us thru out our stay. Maybe next time we are in the area we can enjoy the lake activities more. The sunsets were beautiful to watch sitting on the porch enjoying some coffee.

Had a wonderful time here enjoying the lake and the house was comfortable and inviting. We also rented the pontoon boat which was a great way to enhance our stay.

Lake view was beautiful, and it was great having a screened in porch to sit on in the evenings.The host was very accessible anytime we had a question. This was our second stay, and we plan on returning next year.
