We had an awesome stay, the rooms were really spacious and super clean. The interior is calm and welcoming, everything was at its proper place and well furnished. Our 16 month old had a time of her life running around bare foot in the large house! The host (emma) is very kind, super responsive, and flexible. I wish we had stayed longer.

The views are amazing! We went to my daughter’s wedding on the other side of the island and it was perfect!Evenings in the hot tub were perfect!A short walk and we could swim in a pool. This is a beautiful home with a back yard we could have meals in and spend time with each other!

The house overall met our needs for a stay-cation weekend for eight people. There were plenty of comfortable beds and the house was spacious and well-stocked. We were slightly disappointed by some of the interior features, as there were several lightbulbs out throughout the house, loose drawer pulls, and the fridge ice machine was broken. There was also dust under the beds, tissue shreds in the bathrooms, and the counters were not clean when we came in. These were small things overall, but did affect our experience upon arrival, and it is important to me that the house is clean when we arrive. We were also surprised by the amount of security cameras throughout the house/property. We were aware there were outside facing cameras in the front, but didn't realize there were also cameras in the backyard and the garage, and the discovery of these was a surprise upon arrival. While we recognize that security can be an issue, it did feel uncomfortable to use the backyard (including the hot tub) and the game area in the garage, knowing we were being recorded. We booked the house feeling excited about the backyard and hot tub, but used it much less than we planned to, due to the discomfort of being recorded while in a swimsuit and/or having personal conversations. Overall, the house was good, and we enjoyed our stay, but some attention to details inside the house and additional disclosure of the security cameras would have helped create the perfect stay.

We stayed here for my bachelorette weekend into my wedding. There were some differences in the listing versus the actually rules (4 cars overnight but listing said 5 when I booked). The floors were also quite dirty when we got there, the first day the bottom of everyone’s feet were black, so maybe bring some house slippers if you don’t wanna keep wiping your feet. The host was very communicative and often messaged me reminders (don’t park on the street, call the guard station if you have visitors, etc). Location was beautiful even if it was far but when booking I knew how far it was from our venue. There are two sofa pull out beds, but they both were very uncomfortable so we used the air mattress, but the air mattress deflated within an hour. I ended up driving to my house to get my own air mattress so that my friends weren’t sleeping on the ground. We stayed here during Hurricane Lala (our wedding day) and the power went out but I’m not sure for how long. The staff came and brought in all the outside furniture to make sure it didn’t get thrown into the house which was much appreciated. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay a lot, there were just a few things I would improve to make it a 5 star stay: clean the floors better/more often, get a new air mattress/better cushion for the sofa beds, clear up any inconsistencies with the listing and the actual rules. The host was great and communicated with us through the hurricane to make sure we were safe too!

Perfect Family Vacation Home!

Three generation family vacation to Oahu. On arrival the property was beautifully maintained. My mother enjoyed the chickens and peacocks roaming the property. The house was just as described and very clean on arrival. It accommodated a group of 13, we did end up being a little packed but everyone slept comfortably. The house has two sofa sleepers and two twin size cots with mattresses for the additional guests. The kitchen/living room area was very spacious. With two bathrooms we did have to coordinate our bathroom usage, but that was not a problem for us. I could see a little bit of the ocean from the bunk room window in between the two houses across the street. The beach is a short 5 minute drive from the gated community. We really did not visit the beaches on this end of the island with the exception of the beach right in front of the Hawaiian Princess Resort because we had other family members staying there. It is a public beach and the sand was amazing and swimmable. Beautiful sunsets there. We also traveled up north Farrington Hwy to Ka’ena Point state park and that was a popular beach for surfers, the waves were pretty awesome, made me wish I knew how to surf, but not really a swimmable beach if your not a good swimmer. I do wish to give a shout out to the owner Emma for being an amazing host and allowing an extra guest above the recommended max of 12 to accommodate our big family. She reached out and inquired about our stay and offered us a later check out 🙌
