A quiet and relaxing escape for up to 10 people only a 2 minute drive to the Wintergreen Village.
Parking for up to 3 vehicles, 2 spacious decks and large vaulted ceilings on the main floor with seating for all guests and a place to gather and unwind after a fun day of adventure!
The main level is finished off with a primary bedroom with king size bed and private deck.
Upstairs you will find a queen size bed, 2 sets of bunk beds and a day bed that can be converted to a queen bed!

Lovely home

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a lovely house with nice amenities and was so clean. The host was super responsive which we really appreciated.

We loved it!

My family of 9 (ages 3-70) enjoyed the house very much. Beds for everyone, spacious living room/kitchen, and even a Christmas tree next to the wood burning fireplace. Owners provided many extras, too. Definitely would stay again to be so close to Wintergreen Resort and already recommended to friends!

Perfect retreat

Super clean, great decks, wonderful amenities and all the cookware's etc. The convenience of Wintergreen and all the activities and the beauty, the house was so great we could have stayed here the whole time and been perfectly refreshed. Jennifer was such an accommodating host great communication and simple sign in and sign out.

Weekend brewery trip

Lovely home with plenty of amenities. Owner is responsive and welcoming. We loved the white noise machines in every bedroom. No complaints or concerns, we would definitely stay again.

Cozy space in the mountains

The house was as advertised. We had some difficulty keeping the fireplace burning as well as regulating individual temperature in rooms, otherwise the house was cozy and in a great location in the mountains!

We stayed at this property during the July 4th holiday and were disappointed with our experience.The home does not have air conditioning. While the listing may not advertise A/C, it would have been helpful to know this before arrival, especially during a heat wave with heat indexes exceeding 100F. When I contacted the owner, I was told the mountain air would cool the house at night. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. At 9:45 p.m. one evening, the temperature was still 81F, and the house remained warm and uncomfortable despite fans being provided in the bedrooms. No window A/C units were available.The cleanliness of the windows was also concerning. While bugs and spiders are expected in a wooded setting, many windows were covered with dead bugs, dirt, and spider webs that appeared to have accumulated over time, making it difficult to enjoy the views.The combination of the excessive heat, lack of cooling options, and cleanliness issues made for an uncomfortable stay. We would not stay here again.

Thank you for your feedback. Our listing does not include air conditioning, and this is clearly indicated in the property's amenities section prior to booking. We understand the unseasonable heatwave during your stay made for an uncomfortable experience, and we sympathize — but AC has never been advertised as a feature of this property. We encourage all guests to review the full amenities list and proactively & responsibly check seasonal weather forecasts when traveling. We're happy to continue to provide multiple fans/cooling suggestions/outdoor community pool access for future summer guests as we did for your stay. Lastly, It is also advertised that our home is situated in the forest and that bugs do occur in nature. We hope you get to experience the Wintergreen area again and fully appreciate the beautiful location.

Over all we liked the property. The tv required you use your own streaming. The rugs in some rooms were slippery. No saftey bars in shower. A very small trash can for 5 people for 4 days. The mattresses in some bedrooms were rock hard. The kitchen was nice. We used the charcoal grill and the outside table very nice. The baby loved the booster chair. The house was very clean. Would not recommend for an eldery person.

Comfortable and Welcoming Home

We rented this home along with another property which was located almost directly across the street. We were able to walk from home to home. We have a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins so we usually need multiple houses for our family reunions and get spread out all over Wintergreen Resort. This property is located on the lower portion of Wintergreen Resort mountain. Fog was a huge concern for the older family members so we tried to book as close to the bottom of the resort as possible. There was no fog on this stretch of the mountain! Great location! The kitchen was well stocked and even had spices, teas, etc for guests to use. There was a smart tv in living room with lots of available apps. We were able to easily entertain an infant and a toddler when needed with the variety of Children's apps. The decks are expansive so we were able to take in the color changing leaves and even heard and saw some owls, coyotes, and squirrels. The host was very responsive to all our questions. We will definitely consider renting this home next time we go to Wintergreen.
