Great Time

Everything was as advertised. Owner was very helpful and did a great job of communicating. Will stay here again if we go back to the area.

Diamond in the sand

Such a beautiful lake, the 4th largest in Texas. The property is right on the lake. Spacious lawns offer tranquility. Wonderful lanes and streets for walks or bike rides. Lots of room for our 5 family members to hang out. Plenty of amenities for a large group. The local restaurants are better than expected for a small town. Pretty special place. We definitely tagged this one as a "return place "

Perfect for familys with little kids

The property is safe and perfect for adults and littles. The walk up beach front is perfect for everyone to easily get in and out of the water. Fishing was great at night even while it was hot. Plenty of shade all in the back and great ac in the housem

Our Favorite Lake House!

We have been coming here now 7 out of the last 8 years for the 4th of July. Can’t express how much we love it here, the house is right on the water and able to walk right in. The yard is always kept up and the trees provide great shade during the day. We have been out here with anywhere from 4-10 people and never felt crowded. Jon is always very attentive and deals with anything that comes up very quickly. We highly recommend staying at the Mallard Mist!!

The Mallard Mist.

This place was truly amazing next to the lake. The home was clean, every needed was there, towels dish cloths, dishes were well stocked as well as cookware. The children really loved it because they could swim in the lake everyday. Our host was nice and explained everything we needed to know. We decided that we would love to come back another time. I recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay on the lake.

My husband and his two long time friends stayed in this wonderful house for a “guys” fishing and golf trip. They had only positive things to say about the house and its awesome patio view of the lake. They will gladly stay there again, and I’m considering a girls trip there as well. They recommend it highly.

Great place to get away

The place was cozy and comfortable, and the scenery around the lake was beautiful. It was a great place to take in the solar eclipse!

Peaceful, on water, views but safe from boat, pwc traffic, only 5 min from all services but you feel totally away from town. Can sit on deck and watch kids play, swim in shallow water or join them out in the large protected cove. No road traffic. Safe for kids, walking.
