Fantastic (waterside) lake views pull at you from sunrise to sunset; you never want to leave the porch. LARGE fenced in yard (lakeside) - peace and tranquility just 70 miles from Dallas! Sometimes, you can catch glimpses of a white heron, ducks, cardinals, and several other birds...you will feel tranquility here.

The kitchen is a home cook’s dream. This home can fit a large family, but is also perfect for just two. This home is perfect for making memories. The open concept great room has vaulted ceilings with the amazing views of the lake as the centerpiece. We are located in an area that is PERFECT for swimming. We have a paddle board for your personal use.

We understand the need to get away and take a break in a safe, serene setting with your family. We are following the CDC guidelines to sanitize and disinfect our lake front rental homes to keep you safe! Now all you need to do is come and relax, sit back with your feet up and take in the beautiful lake views. Let the kids run in the fully fenced lakeside yard, fish off the dock and enjoy a splash in the water.

We offer family friendly services and are available to answer your questions promptly.
A fantastic newer style home on Cedar Creek Lake. Bright and open. Whether lake levels are high or low {lake levels fluctuate - we are on a cove}, your family can play at the water's edge, collect seashells or venture out deeper to enjoy your water toys. Boats and water toys can be tied up to our dock in our protected cove. You can enjoy building an evening fire in the firepit, all the while enjoying the privacy this cove has to offer your family.

There are water views from nearly every room in the house. The immense back porch makes it possible for Mom and Dad to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while watching the kids playing in the water. Dream house is what we call it, we think you will too!

We are on a pie shaped lot - Please be conscientious with our neighbors space. 6 cars only please. Also, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras located outside the front door and above the back door.

Pet Policy- we allow up to 2 dogs under 50 lbs. No pets on furniture. Please pick up after them. There is a $100 non refundable fee.

Lovely, comfortable stay

Lovely home, very clean, beautiful porch for just sitting and enjoying the peaceful lake. The kitchen is well supplied. Great to be able to use the garage. Comfortable beds. Owner/manager was easy to contact and very helpful. The location has a good view of the lake. Like all properties at Cedar Creek Lake that I know of, the neighborhoods are crowded and the other houses are really close. No big deal; just fyi. Brookshire's grocery store is close, and Cedar Creek Brewery has a fun Trivia Night on Thursdays.Wonderful to get away and be on the lake like this. We were all super pleased with this property!

Cousins & Family Labor Day Weekend 2024

We had the best time ever! The house was just as described, there is everything you need to make your vacation perfect. I love to cook & grill for everyone and there are all the tools there to do that. Less the crock pot, but we checked with the owner & brought our own. We mainly hung put on the huge porch and talked. Do keep in mind, if you like watching tv on vacation, there are only 2, one in the living area & 1 in the master. Overall, it has been one of our best trips! We are already taking about staying here again. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had! Neighbor was friendly! And the view of the lake is amazing!!!! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. wechecked with the owner & brought arown.

Perfect quiet cove

Perfect little getaway from the colors in the bathrooms to the perfect view from the porch. We enjoyed this family short vacation. Caught some fish and a buzz lol. We took advantage of making some smores under the stars with the sound of the lake. Perfect!

Great little get-a-way

We don't live far, but wanted to be right on the water for the 4th, it was a great stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed, and more. The host was very easy to contact and the weather was great. The boat launch is very close, and although the water was too low (and there was a electrical pipe in the water by the dock that had come loose) and we were not able to tie our boat up, it was still very east to use the public dock/boat launch. Besides putting the boat in the water we never left the house, spending out evenings watching the fireworks around the lake, thanks!

Beautiful home with great view

We loved our stay on this home. Laura was very quick to respond to our questions and the communication was easy. We loved the home and our favorite place was the porch seeing and hearing the water from the lake was so soothing. We spent time on the swim dock for fishing and watching the ducks. We loved it

Excellent view, excellent stay

This house was so thoughtfully setup for hosting my family. Plenty of seating inside and outside so we could all hang out, fenced in yard so no unexpected 'visitors'. Also the kitchen had every single thing we needed to make all of our meals. Plenty of fans to cool down the house and the beds were absolutely awesome! We will definitely be staying here again.

Wonderful Experience

Came to the area to see the solar eclipse, and decided to stay at this property on Cedar Creek Lake. The house was a perfect fit for the four of us adults and two small dogs. The big back porch has an amazing lake view, and the location—only an hour from Dallas—enabled us to enjoy lake life and go into town when we wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host made sure our experience was memorable. A great stay!

Birthday trip

We booked this lake house for my daughter’s 13th birthday. Laura was friendly and great to communicate with! The house was beautiful and so peaceful. My daughter , myself, and her friends really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely book again!!

Great Gathering Space

The open living space in this home along with the large dining table and long bar was a perfect set up for our group to gather round while scrapbooking, eating and visiting! Plenty of beds as well!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was great and even though it was a little chilly we spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the lake. We also had a few nights outside around the firepit looking at the stars. The wife loved the kitchen as we were there during the week of Thanksgiving. It really was a great place to spend our holiday.

Lovely Lake Home!

Another wonderful stay here! Big fenced in yard is a huge plus for "the girls". Laura was easy to communicate with when questions arose. Easy access to grocery store and restaurants. Planning our next stay already!

Peaceful an Relaxing

This is a lovely house on Cedar Creek Lake. Very airy and bright with tasteful decor throughout. It is extremely well equipped with lots of extras available. Expansive covered porch with lots of seating available for sitting and enjoying the view of the lake with a coffee or glass of wine. The bird life is in abundance for those who enjoy them. (The sighting of a Bald Eagle made my holiday). The fenced yard was perfect to keep our dogs safe and confined. Our host Laura has thought of everything and was very attentive and answered any questions very quickly.

Family friendly lakeside stay

We had an amazing stay at this lake house. The house was very clean. The living area was perfect for our large family and the kitchen was well stocked. We loved drinking our coffee on the porch and enjoying the lake. The water level was quite low, but it made it so we had a beach area. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The owner was very responsive to all communication.

Perfect Family Vacation Spot!

We had such a great time at this beautiful home, and Laura the host made getting there and checking in so easy. This was our first family vacation with a toddler and a baby, we went with our parents also and it was just enough space for everyone and had a great cozy feel. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view!!! We were also able to fish right off the back gate, which my toddler loved and was a great bonus being right on the lake. Can’t wait to go back!!!

We purchased this lake house because we fell in love with it the minute we walked through the door. The HUGE open room in the center of the home, with amazing lake views brought us peace. We love to travel, but most of all we love our family & friends. We believe we found the perfect place to spend time together and enjoy a little bit of God's beautiful creation!

Many homes around the lake were built in the 70's and 80's. We wanted a newer home, one with water views. For us, this home was a rare find, a treasure, a perfect lake home offering privacy, room to play and magnificent views. We are also on one level - that means NO STAIRS!
