This was our first time staying in the panoramic River views suite. We had a fantastic trip and would rate this experience as top-notch. The amenities were as good as they get and we’re looking forward to more trips here in the future!Doug

Stunning view! Kitchen had everything we needed. Would have preferred a Keurig instead of drip coffee maker. Bed was very comfortable and we wished there would have been regular pillows instead of memory pillows. Enjoyed our stay.

The view was amazing! The house was just as beautiful! There was everything we needed there. There were two other parties that stayed in a portion of the house and we didn’t even hear them come in. We will definitely book this place again when we travel out there to see family.

This property is VERY nice and clean with an awesome view. Judy the host was extremely communicative and worked with us to have a later check out time due to our son's golf tournament. My only negatives were as pretty as the view is, you definitely heard nothing but noise from I-5. The steepness of the driveway and parking should be noted in description. I can't imagine trying to navigate that in the winter months.

Thank you for your kind comments about the cleanliness, the views, and our communication—we’re glad you enjoyed your stay and that we could accommodate your schedule. For future guests, we’d like to clarify a couple of points. The property is set several miles from I-5, and the suites are well insulated, so outside noise is typically minimal. Most guests find the setting to be very quiet and relaxing. Regarding the driveway, it is fully paved and privately maintained, with some steeper sections due to the elevated bluff location. That elevation is what provides the expansive, unobstructed views of the Columbia River, surrounding mountains, and nearby wildlife refuge. We appreciate the feedback and will continue to make sure guests have clear expectations so they can fully enjoy what is a truly unique setting.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful property

The location of the property at the top a bluff overlooking the Columbia River provides for wonderful views (which were especially enjoyed at sunset). The outdoor balcony spaces are nicely set up to allow for enjoying the view or or enjoying an outdoor meal or conversation. It's located in a great location just north of Portland that made for easy access to the city and a good transition point for work/travel in Washington. Restaurants and grocery and other shopping are nearby as well. The property is as beautiful inside as out. The kitchen and living room spaces are spacious, and all the windows make it possible to enjoy the beautiful views (with curtains for privacy if preferred). The lovely library room is an added bonus and worked well as a space for working. It'd also be a great space for games or gathering if the weather didn't allow for use of the outside spaces. The bedrooms as well were comfortable. Overall, everything needed was provided, and the kitchen was very well stocked (including some snacks). There was a question that came up while I was there and the owner was responsive (even though out of the country), so that was very much appreciated. Overall, the rental is beautiful and I would highly recommend it!

Lovely home. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. We rented the above unit, a 2 bedroom. The furniture is very comfortable and plenty. The outdoor balconies are wonderful. The tea cabinet was amazing. And the kitchen is stocked and is one of the best I have ever seen. Thank you for the spices and tea.
