Our family had a nice stay. The cabin was perfect for what we needed. The space cleared for swimming was small and shallow. Lots of great fishing!

This is a very family-friendly space with toys for toddlers, dishes that are age-appropriate, and a playground set in the backyard. There was an issue with the paddle boat getting stuck in the lily pads, and Kevin responded immediately and helped to rectify the issue. Great canoeing and kayaking. Swimming in the shallow area with a sandy beach with toddlers was perfect. I would highly recommend this place to any guest.

Loved the beach house! It was the perfect place for our family to relax while visiting family in the area. Sitting on the dock watching the fish swim in the clear water was probably our favorite part of our stay. We had such a great time and even our young adult kids said it was one of our better vacations. Thank you so much for hosting. We will definitely consider staying here in the future!

Wonderful Get Away

This is a gem. Our second stay, and just as great as the first. We come to relax and rest. This property is excellent for that.

Short Stay

The "beach house" is a cute little place in a peaceful neighborhood on a peaceful lake. We mostly just slept here, but had everything we needed and was as described.

Relaxing

The Beach House is very quaint, clean and peaceful. The sounds of the birds were lovely, the lily pads are beautiful, and the lake is calming. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful beach house

Absolutely loved our stay at the Beach House! Wish it was during warmer weather, would have loved to enjoy the outside more. Would stay again, great communication with the host.

Visiting family

Beautiful setting. Everything you need right here in the cabin. This listing is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Great for families with small children, couples really anyone looking for the ultimate respite!

Excellent Father's Day

The cabin was clean and well stocked. The owners were very responsive. We spent a lot of time on the water, and highly recommend taking advantage of the canoe and paddleboat availability. Great time!

Our stay

We came out for a bachelor party because it was a great location close to some activities we wanted to do! The host was very responsive and gracious. Our stay was a lot of fun and we all had a place to sleep and the ac was a plus! Thanks again!

Family friendly

This rental is equipped with all that is needed for children, from infant to teens. The children did not want to leave. Adults could sit back and relax if needed but also partake in the recreation if they choose.

Lovely beach cottage

This charming cottage has everything you need, plus! Kid toys, bath toys, games, plenty of everyday items as well. The space is very comfortable and works well for a couple like us, or a family. We enjoyed the privacy and the views from the back deck were lovely. Kevin's communication was great as well. Would definitely stay again. 10 stars.

Cozy lake house

We had a hockey tournament in Blaine, MN, and decided to stay at a lake house instead of the standard hotel. The house was the perfect size for our family of four, and our boys loved fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Communication with Kevin was great, and the weekend trip went smoothly. To top it off, we have a perfect view of the Northern Lights from the end of the dock.

Cozy, fun cabin!

We had an awesome stay at this clean, cozy cabin! It was easy to relax here! Outside we enjoyed the beautiful lake, dock, canoe and paddle boat. There are nice views of lake from inside the cabin and we loved seeing the beautiful fall colors! The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed to help us feel comfortable. My kids enjoyed the (well-organized!) books, games and toys! Kevin was an exceptionally kind and responsive host. We hope to be back to stay again!

Cabin

Cabin was amazing! The lake was small and full of weeds. Was not told we would be watched our whole time on camera was awkward and would of never picked this place had I known. The whole idea is to get away and have privacy. Not being told we would be on camera was upsetting.

Hi Nicole, Thanks for the 5 star review. We are glad you liked the cabin. We have cameras outside only for your security and ours as many homeowners do. This was disclosed in the listing. Since we are offsite hosts, we sometimes use it to make sure people arrive okay; otherwise, we would only check them if there were issues with theft or some type of disturbance. My wife and I both work full-time and have 3 small children, so we certainly were not watching you or your guests while you stayed. Also, two of the cameras were not even working while you were there, so I am unsure what gave you that impression. I just wanted to let you know that for your peace of mind. Thank you.

Very nice family get away

The cabin was very clean and literally had more to offer my grandkids than my house. All the necessities such as high chair, pack n play, bins of toys in almost every room including the bathroom. The best part is these were new to the kids so they stayed entertained for a long time, plus books for all ages. The kids loved the slide. Nice layout of the cabin for adults, we could visit and still see the kids at play in the big bedroom. Hosts were very quick to respond. The shoreline has a small area of sand but there were many lilypads so we went to a nearby beach and it was beautiful and very shallow.
