This is a wonderful home with quick access to many sites in Santa Fe. We also had easy access to numerous National Monuments/Parks to keep our granddaughter busy. The home is pet friendly with a small fenced in yard. The host was responsive to any questions.

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The decor and layout make it a comfortable and inviting space to come home to after a long day of wandering and exploring the city. The large deck with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains is a great place to relax and recover. It feels like a private, quiet refuge but it’s just a few blocks from the center of the city. We hope to return soon.

Loved the property. Seems remote but you can easily walk to town. Kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook at home. Layout is great, allowing our family to spend quality time together. Beds were super comfortable. Would highly reccomend.

Great house close to downtown

We loved our stay at Casa Altamira. The house is very well organized and very well appointed. The beds are all very comfortable and the kitchen is complete with everything you need for a comfortable visit. We had our Christmas there and our adult children loved the house as well. We would absolutely love to come stay again!

Cool home. Great location

We loved Altamira from the moment we entered the home. The views didn't disappoint. The pantry was generously stocked with cooking essentials. The home was full of natural light due to the large windows and sky lights. We loved the traditional Santa Fe style.

Perfect Location

This home was perfect for family time over the holidays. The views were amazing, the home was comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped for cooking a few meals.First time to stay in this area of Santa Fe. Marcy Park was a bonus for the tween and the dog. We took advantage of sunset walks to Fort Marcy and explorations into town. Pickleball would have been on the list but the courts were busy!Great stay.

IFAM Visit

Overall, the house was comfortable, a little dated with good Mountain Views. Very comfortable bed in master, excellent shower and bath setup! Lacking accessible- friendly handrails on the stairs and safety bars in the shower.

Perfect Family Stay

Family meets yearly in Santa Fe - Murillo-generations coming from 3 states. This home was comfortable, well equipped and perfect location. We had an issue with AC. Andres and Sue were on top of it and super responsive. Thank you!

Santa Fe Stay

We’ll located, nice view from the deck. The Heat Dome made it hot even in Santa Fe; had to turn the A/C way down to keep the downstairs bedrooms cool for sleeping. Not a problem, just fyi.

My family and I (7 folks) had a lovely stay through Christmas (2025) and New Year's (2026). The home is perferctly located - a mile walk to the Plaza, very close to a free bus to the ski basin and a walk to Fort Marcy for pickle ball and other recreational activities. Casa Altimara's views are magniificient, as described. The house is fully complete for entertaining and general living. Most notable is that it feels as if Casa Altimara is someone's private home.Communication with the host, Sue, was a breeze.

Attractive and comfortable house

The house was large and spread out enough for five of us, including an active 3.5 year old, The location is super-quiet pretty much all day, and provides easy walking access to the Plaza area of Santa Fe...which was delightful at Christmas time. Sue Kimberly, the property manager, was very responsive to our inquiries.

Perfect Santa Fe House

The views from the windows were so gorgeous you didn’t want to leave the house. The house is high up enough to show changing views of the mountains surrounding it which was magical. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and everything worked. It was immaculately clean all over. We even used the garage which was a nice added feature. It was beautifully decorated in the SouthWestern style which is shown in the accurate pictures. Sue was a charm, great to help with anything and quick to respond. We were living in luxury, for sure. Our only problem was it was hard for us Southerners to adjust to the dry and high desert climate which is Santa Fe. The art there is worth every minute of your stay. They have fantastic restaurants there, too.

The Right Place

We can highly recommend Casa Altamira. The house is not large but the open concept makes the living area feel spacious and is comfortable for two couples, or one couple and kids. The living room has a working fireplace, the master suite is large and private, and the kitchen is small but well-designed and contains all the equipment necessary for serious cooking. The location is great. In particular, the plaza is 20 to 25 minutes and Fort Marcy Park is a mere five minutes away by foot. In addition, the surroundings are quiet. All in all, we were very comfortable, and so were our guests. Our only criticism is that the entertainment system was a challenge to operate given its numerous remote controls. The house and its location are also great for dogs. There is a small fenced area next to the house where dogs can relieve themselves, and Fort Marcy Park is a good place to walk dogs and has a large grassy area where one can play ball (dogs are supposed to be leashed, albeit the rule seems to be flexible). There is also the Frank Ortiz Dog Park, a tract of a 100 acres or so where dogs can be off-leach and play with each other. The park is a 10 minute drive from Casa Altamira.

Lovely home in great location

This home away from home is in a great location with easy access to the Dale Ball Trails and walking distance to the Plaza. It is well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The views of morning sunrises over the mountains are breathtaking. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

Great Place

Fantastic stay in Santa Fe. Property was excellent. The house was in great shape; very clean and ready for our stay! We stayed with our two children and a dog. Nice little outside, enclosed area for the dog. Great deck with sun in the morning. Fireplace was perfect for the evenings. Location is very close to downtown Santa Fe. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed this property. Check-in was easy and there was a binder with a lot of good information about the property as well as good information about Santa Fe. Very helpful. Good location. It was close to nice Santa Fe shopping and gallery areas. The view was great and we enjoyed several amazing sun rises. Highly recommend!
