Welcome to Casa Sonrisa! Walk everywhere from this darling casita in the hip & historic Guadalupe/Railyard neighborhood. Available to rent year-round, for multi-day, weekly, and monthly stays.

In this sweet adobe home, every effort has been made to assure you of a comfortable and memorable stay, starting with a 'welcome' bottle of New Mexico wine. We've decorated our casita with local art and furniture, and hope that it will feel like your own cheerful home in Santa Fe.

2 bedrooms sleep 4 people, with a queen bed in one room and a king bed in the other. Each is made up with a down comforter (non-down/hypo-allergenic comforters available upon request). There is also a sofa in the living room that folds out into a full-size bed, accommodating 1-2 more people. The master bedroom boasts its own kiva fireplace, and both bedrooms share a private outdoor patio. There is a bathroom adjoining the master bedroom, and another large bathroom in the main hallway. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan.

(Please note that the queen bed is somewhat high off the floor for some elderly or very young guests.)

The house is equipped with all the conveniences you might need during your stay: wifi, 2 televisions and DVD players, Smart TV/Streaming, a stereo, iPod speakers, W/D, D/W, linens/towels, hairdryers, terrycloth spa robes, and extra toiletries.

Traditional in style, the casita features extra high viga (beam) ceilings, 2 kiva fireplaces, brick floors throughout, and Mexican tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. Casa Sonrisa is a one-level home, making it a comfortable option for those who prefer no stairs.

There is off-street parking in front of the house for 1 vehicle.

We are pleased to offer a non-smoking environment.

Pets (1) considered on a case-by-case basis. Please inquire.

Photos don’t do this casita justice. First rental I’ve stayed in (around the world) to feel like home and have everything we needed or wanted.Comfie beds. Excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet neighborhood. Would happily stay here again.

We liked the location a lot. The casa itself is comfortable and has all the amenities you would expect. The host was easy to work with and always pleasant. Altogether an excellent stay and we want to return another time.

The casita was perfect for 3 good friends. Very clean, comfortable beds and linens, white robes were a nice touch. Great location! We were able to walk to the Plaza and Railyard and to several good restaurants. The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly to questions. Would stay here again and highly recommend

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the casita. The location is perfect and we walked to the Plaza in the evenings almost every night. Also an easy walk to the restaurants at the Railyard, and an easy drive from the airport and to good grocery stores. The beds were comfortable and it was cool enough a couple nights that we enjoyed fires in the fireplace - so cozy! The architecture and decor is authentic to the area and very welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy for a family to work in together. We love Santa Fe and if we come back I hope we can stay there again.

This little house was charming and pleasant. It was convieniently located just a few minutes from the Plaza, which was awesome. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the home & location! My friend & I stayed in the home for a long weekend. The space was perfect for us-comfortable beds, plenty of space, easy check-in, and walking distance to the square, farmer’s market, and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were able to stay in Santa Fe for the month of August and the casita was perfect! We loved the house, the amenities and most importantly the graciousness of our hosts! The neighborhood was so special and we were able to walk to downtown. Absolutely perfect and coming back to the casita each day was a joy!

Mainly it had no air conditioning. This was not mentioned in the description of the property. There was a noisy swamp cooler which did very little if any good. It was like sleeping in a convection oven. We requested a refund for the 2 remaining nights, but they refused. We had to rent another property for the final 2 nights of or stay despite being denied a refund. Apparently if AC is not listed as an amenity it doesn't exist. The property should be required to say there is no AC. fortunately it did have hot and cold running water and an indoor toilet even though they weren't listed under amenities.

I love staying in this charming casita every year when I visit Santa Fe. It’s very comfortable, and I can easily walk from it to both the Railyard District or Plaza.

A Delightful and Relaxing Stay!

The photos don’t even do it justice, this is one of the most gorgeous homes I’ve ever rented. The hosts were so warm and helpful too. The fireplaces, skylights, dimmers, and all around coziness will make you want to extend your trip. I walked to everything and felt very safe, no matter the hour. Be sure to check out the liquor store across the street with its adorable attached bar. Can’t wait to return!

We're a mother and daughter who own the house together. Our family is originally from the Washington, DC area, and we also lived in Rome, Italy for 4 years. Currently, my mother lives in Virginia, and I live in Washington, DC. We're avid fans of the arts, especially music (our photo is at the Santa Fe opera), and lovers of the outdoors. Santa Fe is a great place for those things and more.

Casa Sonrisa is our family's home when we're in town, but primarily a vacation rental property for most of the year. While we are not local, our gracious caretaker will be available for any questions or concerns you may have during your stay. We look forward to hosting you soon!

The Guadalupe/Railyard neighborhood is thriving, with lots of shops, restaurants, galleries, and a great farmer's market within walking distance. Plus, the Santa Fe's famous plaza is just a short 10-minute walk away. Since we put down roots in this part of town in 2004, it continues to evolve and become more interesting every time we visit.

We fell in love with our casita because it is sweet and unique. With architectural touches such as viga ceilings throughout, banco seating in the main room, and even a little nicho tucked into the hallway wall, our casita offers a cozy and traditional environment to our guests. Also, the location can't be beat!
