Bunk house was damp and musty. Rest of our stay was 5 star, I recommend booking if the bunk house is not needed for additional beds.

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. The grounds are beautiful and the house was exactly what we hoped it would be. Highly recommend.

Beautifully appointed cabin. Spacious and great for families! Nicely set back from the main road and very quiet. Our family had a tremendous time!

Cozy and well-appointed cabin on a beautiful creekside site. We appreciated all of the comfortable touches (for example lots of blankets, good furniture for lounging, great comfy beds). It was meticulously clean. A great place for our two families with teenagers to have some quality time together. Easy drive to Penn State University Park. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Cabin and stream weekend away

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin, enjoying the serene surroundings and cozy atmosphere. The amenities were excellent, and the hosts were exceptionally hospitable, making our experience truly memorable.

The cabin was very clean and well equipped for a fanily. It was obvious that someone put alot of thought into making it a comfortable environment for a family.

The cabin is very quiet and serene with the stream running by. Everything was very nice and as described. We even had a small herd of deer come to the cabin to thank us for staying on our last morning.

Great property, very relaxing

Great location for gravel bike rides through all the nearby state forests. Nice and quiet, beautiful Creek out front. Great porch to enjoy the morning coffee on! Very clean and nice amenities.

weekend trip

Great spot to stay for the weekend and go to a Penn State game. Only thing that could've made it better was a W for Penn State.

wonderful creekside retreat

We needed a quiet, serene place to collect ourselves after our mother's celebration of life, and this property proved to be perfect. We enjoyed the comforts of the home as well as the remote, natural setting. All of the details had been attended to, and we didn't have any concerns or questions during our stay.

We traveled back to Central PA as a family of 8 for a family wedding. The cabin was spacious, clean, and was exactly as listed. With a quiet stream side location nestled at the edge of the woods, it was the perfect place for the kids to play and explore and for the adults as well. The location is a great base to enjoy all that the region has to offer-excellent gravel and mountain bike riding, hiking, hunting, fishing, and an easy 30 minute drive to Penn State. The hosts were very friendly and prompt with communication, and made the check-in/checkout process simple. In summation, we would return in a heartbeat if our travels bring us back to Central Pa.

Exceeded Our Expectations!

We stayed here for 3 days. The house was super clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful, clean, and dreamy! You walk outside and hear rushing water it's absolutely beautiful, super private. the beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and eager to please. I would 1000% recommend this property!

Weekend Getaway

My family and I spent a long weekend at Creekside Hideaway. It was exactly as advertised. The cabin is beautiful and it’s location is just as beautiful. The property manager was in touch every step of the way and provided any and all needed information. My family and I are already planning our next stay. Thank you for sharing your little slice of paradise.
