Beautiful Country Home located outside of Jacksonville with pool!

With two wineries located less than 2 miles away and the Britt Festival within a five minute drive you will have many options to have a fun getaway! The adorable town of Jacksonville is a 3 minute drive and has the cutest cafe’s and restaurants! The pool is beautiful and serene which makes for a perfect pool day with the family! I live in the cottage behind the home with my fiancé and my golden retriever named Lindy. I will be able to help you through out your stay in case you need anything!

We had a fantastic stay over the weekend for a ladies trip! Melissa was super responsive, the pool was awesome to chill at and the location was perfect. We did a night at the Britt Festival, a day of shopping in Jacksonville and then just hung on the property. We would definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect pit stop to enjoy the hot summer days! Awesome house, perfect pool! Couldn't ask for more! Will defiantly be stopping here again

Fantastic property and host! Beautiful location and home. There are numerous spaces inside and out for large groups to sit and socialize. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room, etc are all spacious, bright, and welcoming.The pool was wonderful.The host was very easygoing, especially on the checkout process. Sometimes hosts leave a long list of to-dos for the renter. Hers was super easy - she keeps things easy for her renters.I'd highly recommend this host and property! We had a wonderful weekend out there for a family wedding nearby. If you go, don't miss Rellik Winery just down the street. We didn't sample their wine but they also have an ice cream stand. The ice cream there is incredible.

Exactly as listed! Close to town, but far ebough out you could relax. Tons of space for our party of 12 to sleep, eat & relax. This old farm hoise still has a lot to offer.

Amazing property, host and location! The place was everything we imagined and more. The place was very clean the pool was fantastic. The bedrooms fit the family perfectly. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful Home

House was beautiful. A lot of room for the whole family. We were very comfortable in this house. Would stay here again and recomend this place to anyone.

We had an amazing time at Melissa's lovely home. It was clean, spacious and well stocked. There were so many welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. Melissa was quick to respond with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to return.

Family Reunion

Everyone had a great time. There was plenty of space for all of us to sleep and relax. We enjoyed the pool as it was in the 100's while we were there. Great place to gather inside and out. Would recommend it to anyone!!!

Hawkins Girls Cousin Reunion

What a cozy home & beautiful pool area! We couldn't have picked a better place! Hostess was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed poolside & swimming. We fixed breakfasts & dinners in the spacious kitchen. Thank you so, so much! Highly recommend for large gatherings. 2 lower bedrooms a huge plus for elderly!!

Beautiful Home and Environment

Booked this house for a one-night stay with 8 other friends and family. This is an older house with beautiful modern and rustic charm. Lots of room for parking multiple vehicles. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable house for a large group of people. The owner was very kind and quick to respond with any issues or questions that we had. Overall, a 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at this Central Point home

Our overall stay was pleasant. The home is beautiful, spacious, and nicely decorated. It accommodated our party of 12 well. We were welcomed with a sign at the front door with our name on it and found a lot of great games on the shelves in the living room available for family game night. The pool had seating for those not wishing to play in the pool. Pool toys and yard games were also provided. Our grandchildren loved viewing the cows in the pasture right by the property. The property also offers a lovely outdoor seating area with a gas firepit that we used each evening. We did find that the home wasn't equipped with sufficient wash clothes, hand towels, kitchen towels and dish rags. We also didn't find extra blankets or sheets available to us. We were there for a wedding and could have used an iron and ironing board but that was not on sight. The host did let us know of that ahead of time, so we did go aware of that. It seemed that the cleaning wasn't thorough upon our arrival (fridge, inside some cabinets, shower curtain in downstairs bedroom on pool side), as well as some non-working light bulbs. We experienced a plumbing issue in the shower of the downstairs main bathroom as water pooled when the shower was being used. For the price we paid, we expected it to be a bit cleaner and to not experience some of these things. The host is super responsive and very easy to get a hold of and work with. I'm confident she would navigate any concerns with her guests.

This is the best place we have ever stayed. It has so much space and it is so comfortable. What a beautiful house too.The host, Melissa, was so kind and prompt when we needed anything. Just a joy to work with. 100% recommend and 10/10 we will stay here again!

Kudos to: This property had adequate space for our family, enough beds and areas inside to roam and play. The pool was a great hit, though deep, and the cherry plumbs were in season and all the kids loved picking and eating them. The property managers were communicative and great to work with.Improvements: the house could have been cleaner (dust, dirt, stains on walls and spider webs here and there) and there needs to be more pots and pans for cooking along with dishes and utensils for large groups. Overall it was a good stay.

We loved our stay at Melissa’s country home! We were in town for a family wedding and the house was the perfect size to host multiple family members. Having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms plus large kitchen and living areas was perfect! We had a heat wave and being able to use the pool in the afternoons was ideal. Melissa is super responsive and I would absolutely book again!
