Welcome to your peaceful haven in North Austin! Located in burgeoning Tech Ridge, this private room/bathroom offers a comfortable and modern refuge for guests seeking convenience and proximity to all attractions. Only 15-20 minutes to the Domain, Q2 Stadium, downtown Austin, and the airport.

Whether you're a shopaholic, sports enthusiast, or simply seeking a relaxing getaway, our property is the perfect base for your Austin adventures.

This space features 1 bedroom and bathroom, providing comfortable accommodations for up to 2 guests. Wake up gently as gorgeous natural light streams in through the French doors. Step outside to your personal backyard space, where you can relax on the patio and soak up the Texas sun. It's the perfect spot to recharge or enjoy a spectacular view of the colorful “Violet Crown” Austin sunset.

This room includes:
- King size memory foam bed
- 4K TV with access to all streaming platforms (subscriptions required)
- Lightning-fast fiber internet (1gig), allowing you to work, stream, and stay in touch with ease
- Standing work station
- Kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig coffee maker
- Energy-efficient heat pump, ensuring a pleasant temperature year-round (ceiling fan in case you want an additional breeze)
- Endless hot water on demand courtesy of our tankless water heater
- Silky-smooth water for showers and household use via the water softener system (Texas hard water is no joke)

The private bed/bath, fenced in patio, and separate entrance are all yours - we have the rest of the house/backyard. Please note that we have 2 young children so you may hear occasional noise.

Street parking in front of the house is available, but we kindly ask you to keep the driveway clear as we will be doing school/daycare drop-offs by 7am.

I'm a work-from-home professional and will respond immediately when I am not on a call.

This accomodation is tucked away at the back of a residential area. Sweet hideaway, yet close to everything! Lovely private patio, wonderful linens! Simple, clean, perfect!

Very classy and elegant place to stay

It was an absolutely great place to stay the bathroom is gorgeous the room is gorgeous you do have privacy. It honestly felt like a high-end hotel room

Great

The room was great as two women who were going to the Bésame Mucho Festival. Had everything we needed for the little time we were actually in the room. It’s very modern, the bed is very comfortable and it was a great stay overall!

Clean and comfy

Beautiful bathroom, very comfortable bed, overall really lovely. Only gripe, it didnt feel as private as it seemed given that there wasnt any sound proofing in the walls

Accommodation for Internship

The property had everything I needed. I was in town for an internship with Austin FC (hence the choice in location). Sean as a host was very responsive and supportive. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for accommodation in the Harris Ridge area.

Austin visit

Room & bath were delightful. Room was too warm, without control of a thermostat. Had to keep the door open at night. Need to put pavers in from sidewalk to back gate. Entering the door at the back was very wet because it was raining, which is why we gave 4 stars.

Good stay

The check in was easy, the space was very aesthetically pleasing and clean! One of the light bulbs went out during the stay but no big deal. Only constructive feedback would be to add a better sound strip under the connecting door, as guests can hear everything on the other side (talking, sneezing, etc.). My husband and I didn’t mind because we have kids but it could potentially bother future guests.

Had a wonderful stay. All was as promised. Some difficulty with check-in as I arrived after dark. The code pad to open the door could not be seen in the dark, but Sean came to the rescue! It’s located on the handle of the entry door. Couldn’t see the address, though it is clearly on the house, the shadows kept it from being seen. I depended on the curb marking. Would recommend arriving during daylight. The room had all one could want…fridge, microwave, bottled water dishes, glasses, silverware. There’s even a white noise machine if you need it. The bathroom has a nice walkin shower and plush towels, to boot! It was a bit warm at times and you don’t have access to temp controls, but I used the overhead fan. It was enough and I saw another portable one in the closet, though I didn’t use it. Check the weather before coming. Two downpours made walking to the gate a bit sloshy, so I recommend bringing rain boots. The small inconveniences did not hinder my enjoyment of the weekend. It is well located, close to major arteries of the city. No more than 15 minutes away from anywhere I needed to be. I will definitely be back! Sean and his family are great hosts!

Comfortable, clean, tidy. Would stay again.

Just what I needed during my 4 day stay in Austin! Very clean & uncluttered. King size bed was very comfortable. There's a great walk-in shower, double sink vanity, plush towels, ample walk-in closet. Efficient counter/drawers in the bedroom/studio space with microwave & Keurig, Wi-fi and energy efficient lighting. The entry door to this room is at the back of the house through a privacy fence. The only drawback I can note is that there's no walkway from the sidewalk along side the house to the gate. It would have been helpful if there was a smooth path or pavers to walk on as the grassy ground was a bit uneven and tricky to maneuver at night.

My family and I moved to Austin in 2022 after almost a decade in NYC. We went from a 650 sq ft 1-bedroom in Brooklyn to more space than we know what to do with in Texas! Though we miss the New York pizza, we're so thrilled to be in a vibrant and family-friendly city like Austin.

We're seasoned travelers and first time hosts, so our goal is to provide the same thoughtful accommodations we'd expect on any of our adventures. Hope to see you soon!
