How peaceful and wonderfully quiet, The cabin is beautifully remodeled, well appointed with all the comforts one would need. I highly recommend a stay there if you are planning a trip to Birch Bay. The hosts were a delight to communicate with, which is very important when traveling alone. I’ll be back!

This place was a great place to stay! Quiet, clean, cozy. The beach, restaurants, and coffee shops are within a walkable distance. I would 1000000% book here again the next time I visit the area.

Wonderful week stay at 1930 s beach cottage. 2 minute walk to the beach. Love the clean and well maintained cottage. It had everything we needed for a super week here. Beautiful kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker and great patio with Weber bbq to use. Nice flowers on the patio and porch and deck lights. We would love to return !

This cottage is beautiful inside and out. The host responded to my queries very quickly and was most helpful. I love the photo book of their construction journey…nice touch. I was so comfortable in every way. Kitchen very well stocked. The beach is a minute walk away. Shops and restaurants are a 6 min walk. I wanted to book my next stay before I’d even left.

This cottage was PERFECT for a stay in Birch Bay. Quiet location just off the waterfront and super easy to get to coffee in the morning, ice cream in the afternoon, and several restaurants in easy walking distance. The cottage itself is a dream! A well-equipped kitchen packed into this little footprint, and a comfy bedroom with plenty of closet space. Extra bonus--actual handcrafted bunkbeds for 2 more guests (we didn't use them, but now are thinking . . . summer fun!). Thermostat worked great, too--our weather was a bit chilly, and the heat warmed up the cottage quickly and efficiently. The host, Jeannie, was professional & so quick to communicate with. Believe it, too, when we say that all you need to bring is yourselves and your outfits. She's thoughtfully taken care to provide toiletries, extra linens and towels, and the cottage has clear (and cute!) signage telling you where all of your supplies are. It was super smooth checking in, using the entry lock, and super easy to check out, except for the "leaving" part. Hopefully, we'll be back soon.

This was a perfect little spot to stay close to the beach/bay! 100% recommend for a weekend getaway! Would book again in a heartbeat!

We were so grateful for the opportunity to stay in Birch Bay and The Cottage! Exactly what we hoped for……peaceful, clean, comfortable and inviting space close to the water! Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

This VRBO is perfect!!! Spotless, beautifully decorated, a few steps to the beach, every amenity you could want( beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen !) and a super comfy bed with high quality sheets!!! Lovely little patio in quiet neighborhood.

Jeff and I, along with our three kids, have spent many years making wonderful memories in Birch Bay. In 2020 we were able to purchase this property and renovate it with the hope of being able to share it with others so that they can experience all the things that we love about Birch Bay.

We most enjoy taking walks on the berm, having beach fires, making s'mores, and seeing the most amazing sunsets. Birch Bay provides all kinds of activities in the summer from the sand sculpture contest, to the kite festival, to live music at nearby restaurants and bars. Be sure to check out the Birch Bay event calendar for all the details.
