This is a great unit, plenty of parking, outside seating, gorgeous sunsets and right across the street from public beach access

The place was in tip top new condition. We enjoyed the nearby town of Blaine and the restaurants there. Took day trips to Mt Baker, Vancouver, and Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands.

Great access to beach

We loved the location. The bed could use a better mattress but overall the place was very charming and clean!

Location we were looking for; complimentary laundry was a bonus.

Came to visit our son and this location was less than 2 miles from his home. Comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Nice view of evening sunset over the water.

Stayed longer than anticipated

Very well kept property. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I had to extend my stay several times and the management was very helpful. I will definitely book here again in the future.

Didn’t have time to go skiing,because we had some issues we had to take care of and leave early,Lisa and Rosemary were kind enough to get part of our fees back and were professional ,friendly and helpful and for that we are grateful.

Loved this studio! Enjoyed the view of the creek. Too cold (October) to sit outside but would be great for warmer days. Quiet cute, homey, nice decor. Best bed I've ever slept in while traveling- (I hate standard motel pillow-top mattresses that require a step ladder to climb into, with blanket attached to sheet so you can't adjust them when you're too hot.) This bed was nice height, soft to sink into, but still gave good support.Highly recommend this.

Nice spot for visiting Birch Bay

The property was clean & welcoming. I enjoyed the decorations and the extra space in the bathroom to put luggage. There is beach access right across from the property, however it’s flanked by houses so if you happen to go out for a walk and the tide is high you’re walking in front of others peoples property. My biggest complaint is that the bed was very uncomfortable for me & my husband. Likewise the two chairs in the room for main sitting and relaxing were very uncomfortable. If the bed and furniture were more comfortable I might consider coming back to this spot.

Thank you so much for your review and I am glad you enjoyed your stay. This is the first I have heard of the bed and chairs being uncomfortable and we have had a number of guests stay. I will certainly look into it and see if replacing is needed. Thank you again.

Room was VERY clean and comfortable for the two of us. I should have paid better attention that there was no stove, just toaster type oven. TV was a bit tricky to figure out, but we did it. The gas/propane fireplace front was really pretty. I enjoyed that very much and didn’t seem to take much to warm the space Would be a nice touch to maybe include a few decks of playing cards, dice, and maybe a crib board. Could be nicely stored in baskets under window seating area? Loved the salt water taffy, I think I ate all the banana!😉 Would be a place we’d stay again if opportunity came up. Thank you for hospitality.

It’s actually better than the listing: SO cute, perfectly sized for me, lovely breeze with the windows open, and great location. I never write reviews, but had to for this gem of a spot. I can’t wait to stay here again.
