Just spent five nights at this great property. The house is well done, comfortable beds, nicely outfitted for guests. The host was great to work with and communicated regularly to make sure we had no problems checking in and had everything we needed. Highly recommend the property.

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet neighborhood and a great backyard to chill with a group of your friends, which we did. We used the BBQ and it worked wonderfully. Plus, there's a fireplace outside and it was great to use for a fall trip. You won't be disappointed when you book this VRBO. Neds were comfortable. 10/10. Will definitely be coming back to this one for my next birthday trip to Chicago!!

We had a great time at this property while our family explored Chicago. We found everything about the property was awesome for our family. Sitting outside with coffee in the morning was fantastic. Quiet neighborhood and very close to grocery store. We would stay there again. If we had to make any recommendations it would be that the living room could use more seating as we were five adults and had to use kitchen chairs for all to have a seat. I would also consider new sofa downstairs. It sits very low and can be uncomfortable for some people.

Great house for family trip

We really enjoyed this beautiful home and location for our family trip. The large rooms and open floor plan were perfect for six adults to enjoy. Plenty of local restaurants and shopping nearby. This was also a nice safe neighborhood for evening strolls and we enjoyed the Christmas lights on display.

Chicago stay

We rent Vrbo often. They had the most comfy beds out of all of the places we have stayed. They also allow dogs and have a gated yard. This was perfect for our stay in Chicago.

Great location and beautiful home!

This suburban home not far from highway to get you to downtown in 20 min was perfect! The home was beautiful, spacious, and well stocked for all needs! This was a quick stop for us but the host was excellent with communication and I plan on coming back!

Nice Neighborhood, Convenient, Comfortable

I stayed here with my brothers, sister,and spouses for a family get together. This property was accurately described. The host's communication was excellent before, and during our stay. The beds were quite comfortable. It was located convenient to what we were looking to do during our stay. There is a Jewel grocery store a couple of blocks away. The neighborhood is very nice and safe.

Excellent home for our extended family stay!

My husband and his siblings (and 2 spouses) gathered to inter his mom’s ashes.The home was perfect!The 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with large common areas (living room, family room, dining room) made gathering a breeze. The outdoor deck was lovely and the full kitchen let us make meals. New washer and dryer was handy too.Would highly recommend!

Nice spot for groups

I stayed with 8 other family members and we had a decent amount of space. We used a couple air mattresses to shuffle kids around. Loved the patio area out back and ping pong table downstairs. Close to the Westchester pool which we enjoyed!

Center of the Action

My friends came from out of town and we wanted a central location to where we could get to downtown, north suburbs, and southwest suburbs. Couldn't have picked a better home. Very clean, very convenient, and did not disappoint.

We came up to Chicago for the holidays to see our family. The house was perfect for our two weeks stay. It was spacious, clean, well equipped, and very welcoming. The patio/deck area was a nice addition to the property. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Our family is spread over the Chicagoland area and this was a very central location to Downtown and various burbs for us. Property is well kept. Minor upkeep needs did not overshadow the great layout, condition, and comfort of this home. The rooms were comfortable, and we loved both the basement rec area and the outdoor patio. The fenced in back yard was a HUGE bonus for our dogs. And above all, the owners were AMAZINGLY responsive and helpful. We will definitely seek out this property next time our family converges back upon Chicagoland. Thank you for giving our family a memorable place to come together - it truly means the world.

Overall, the stay was okay. This house could easily be a 5-star stay with fixes. I think this house has suffered from inconsiderate prior guests; however, that's not really my problem and I feel my experience was worsened as a result of the hosts not addressing issues from prior guests. The mantra of the stay became "everything works, but everything is a little broken." Let's start with the good: The house is in a good location -- grocery walking distance away. Nice nature paths nearby also. The house is roomy enough for many people to stay, the backyard is fully fenced for dogs and in good condition. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. This is why the house could easily be a 5-star stay. Plus dog-friendly, is a huge plus. The so-so: Nothing was awful. We had an okay stay. But from the start, several issues came up:- Grill was dirty & rusted enough that I didn't want to use it. Listing says guests are responsible for gas, and of course it was empty. We skipped grilling. - Slow drains in baths, sinks- Arrival was not ready; crew was very nice, but would have been better to skip all that.- Kitchen sink would periodically not dispense water (touch faucet)- Low-stocked kitchen compared to other VRBOs at the price- One of the living room chairs was broken, limiting comfortable seating- Basement ping-pong is well worn, had to buy balls, table isn't in great condition- Washer dryer would randomly stop or be very hard to start; they worked, but were a little wonky

Great Stay in Westchester

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the properties there are well maintained. The location is convenient to major roads and interstate highways. The house is clean and provides many amenities and many areas to enjoy and chill! The hosts provided a notebook with information on various facets of the property. They promptly responded to a couple of questions we had on operating the television. It is definitely a house we would stay at again if we are in the area. Thanks Vic and Grace!!!

Family ReunionWhat a wonderful stay! Our family reunion was planned for chicago this year. In lieu of impersonal and expensive hotel rooms, a group of us decided to look for a vacation rental. Some family members have mobility challenges so stairs and long hallways were a concern. After hours of looking, I stumbled across this property while searching for homes close to ohare airport and downtown chicago, where our events were planned to take place. Three bedrooms upstairs and one on the main level proved to be perfect for our group. This property was close to stores, Restaurants, and highways to get us on our way quickly. The home itself was decorated well and spacious to spread out. The ping pong table downstairs saw plenty of tournaments from our family members. From the initial booking to the time we checked out, communication with the hosts was superb. All in all, it truly felt like home, for tge three nights we were there. I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.

I was excited to stay here for my graduation weekend, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t meet expectations.When we arrived at 4:45 p.m. (check-in was 4:00 p.m.), the cleaning crew was still at the property finishing up, so the home was not fully ready upon arrival.Throughout our stay, several maintenance workers came in and out of the property to address a preexisting issue, which was disruptive and took away from the privacy and relaxation we expected during our trip.We also discovered that one of the bed frames was broken and the kitchen sink was loose and unstable. I immediately notified the host and sent photos of the damaged bed frame so there would be no confusion about the condition of the property when we arrived. Despite these inconveniences, the host did not offer any compensation, apology beyond acknowledging the issues, or any gesture to make up for the interruptions.The most disappointing part came after the stay. Nearly two months later, the host filed a damage claim against me for a 13 toilet paper holder. Considering I proactively documented existing damage upon arrival and was transparent throughout my stay, this was both surprising and frustrating.The location itself was great, and we still managed to enjoy our graduation weekend. However, between the unfinished cleaning at check-in, repeated maintenance visits, existing maintenance issues, and the unexpected damage claim after checkout, I cannot recommend this property or host.
