You can't get any closer to the water! Oceanfront ground floor condo. 37 steps from the water. Enjoy your stay at what I think is one of the world's most beautiful beaches with the ease of accessing your condo at any time.
Enjoy swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing in the warm crystal clear water of Sapphire Beach. Whether you just want to relax, or have a more adventurous time, we have it all. The marina is just around the other side of the building to rent jet skis, para sail, book a snorkel or scuba adventure, or charter a romantic sunset cruise.
Enjoy just relaxing on the beach with beautiful views of St. John or the other islands. I'm sure someone will be by soon to offer you a drink, or perhaps a snack.
We provide beach chairs and snorkel gear!
We also have a beautiful pool, the Banana Cabana for a frozen beverage and fantastic food, and of course the local iguana population!
Need to check email, post your photos, research a restaurant or check flight status? We now have free wireless internet access available in our condo.
Sapphire Beach has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Paradise!

location is stellar

You simply can't get a better location if you love being in the ocean and snorkeling. We loved it. The condo itself is older, you have what you need and nothing more. We would have enjoyed a more firm mattress. Since checkout is early but our flight was in the evening, baggage is an issue as there is no lobby. Carting it up and down stairs was also a challenge for us, so pack lightly!! Owner was available via text to troubleshoot internet issues. We hope to come back. Overall, very pleased with this property and had a wonderful and memborable stay there. Nearby restaurants were excellent!!

Great place to stay!

Awesome place to stay. Condo was clean and comfortable. Great location to the ferry port. Had a blast at the beach bar...food and drinks were terrific. Beautiful beach. Highly recommend staying here.

After a long absence

This unit is extremely well located.all “things” functioned as expected. The bar and new restaurant were new to us…the area gets a lot of day trippers from the cruise ships…we were able to get beach chair,loungers,every day,in a great location,but you have to know how to get this done…at night ,all is quiet….the general population is pretty well mixed from older,like us,to long term or owners,families with kids,and middle aged first timers…all pretty well mannered…appropriate dress was swim suit ,sandals and some type of cover up. I did not hear anything about crime of any sort…

Great location

Overall we had a fantastic time at the sapphire beach condo location! This location in St. Thomas was beautiful, the beach bar was so nice, we didnt go to the coffee shop but hear it was fantastic, had free chair rental and easy to rent snorkel gear as well. The property overall is so nice and easy to get around. The marina is literally across the parking lot and made it easy for a boat trip. Lots of good restaurants close by, and red hook down the road.The condo itself had plenty of towels for showers and beach, kitchen had everything we needed for breakfasts and making to-go lunches. The patio was spacious with lots of seating! Great view and super close to the pool. The bed was definitely different, which was mentioned in other review- but honestly for 2 people with lower back pain, we enjoyed the bed and I didn't wake up with back pain once! Only grip I had was there was no hand soap in the bathroom- they mention in the listi no toiletries and only 1 roll of toilet paper, so I couldnt be too surprised, but honestly to not have a basic bar of soap to clean your hands before you make it to the store to shop is crazy! Seemed like a cheap move for such a beautiful island location. Out of the 4 total couples in our group it was half-and-half on who had toiletries and who didn't in their condo, so seems kind of common, unfortunately. Overall it is a great location in the complex and great location on the island so we would definitely come back to sapphire beach condos again!!

FABULOUS!

The condo was perfect for us. It was comfy and has a mesmerizing view. The location is within a short walk to three restaurants, a beach with good snorkling, a lovely pool, and the marina (where we met the boat for a St. John snorkling tour). We'd definitely stay here again!

The owner was extremely responsive, the place was perfect. While they said they had snorkeling equipment a lot of it was broken. Other than that absolutely perfect, the location can't be beat

Awesome view

View and location on Sapphire Beach are hard to beat. Only issues I had: 1) queen bed slopes to middle, not very comfortable, and 2) owners next door are smoking frequently, but after security asked them to not smoke on the porch they made attempts to move away when smoking.

Great Location and Beach Vibes

Great place to stay for a getaway! The beach was right out the back patio, pool to the right, and small peninsula was beautiful to wind down after a beach day. The condo being on the corner on the 1st floor was great for quite evenings! The most unexpected thing were the events at the bar and grill on property, our 1st night had a DJ and 2nd night had a great band playing in the afternoon for July 4th festivities! We had been to Sapphire Beach before but had never stayed on property but would definitely stay again!

2 weeks in paradise

I truly enjoyed out stay at this condo. We do intend to stay there again. The only negative we encountered was a transformer blew so the last 15 hours of our stay were without power or A/C. Totally not Gregg's fault. He was great to work with. The condo was in the best location on the beach and we had a great time. We had many meals out on the patio enjoying the view and the sound of the ocean.

A litttle slice of Paradise!

This was our first trip visiting Sapphire Beach Resort & it did not disappoint. The condo itself has a fabulous beach/water view & is located on the corner which lends to a beautiful breeze in the evenings and a larger patio than most. The beach is stunning and the water is warm & really blue. All the amenities on site are wonderful including the beach bar & pizza place. We liked how everything on site is so close by and Red Hook for other dinner options is a 5-minute cab ride away. The condo was decorated beautifully and has all of the amenities you could need. We will definitely be back and would love to rent this condo in the future. Thank you Gregg for being super responsive & such a great host!!

Amazing Location

This place had everything we needed. And the views were incredible. We traveled all around the Island and toured all the beaches along with a day trip to St. John.. Although we enjoyed everywhere we went we came to the conclusion that Saphire Bay was still one of our favorites. The pool was beautiful to sit by at night and the restaurants down the way allowed for many options. The full moon party was a blast. Hope to be back soon.

Estate Smith Bay

The views from the unit and the community itself are spectacular. Sapphire is so beautiful and close to Red Hook which we thoroughly enjoy. The unit was clean and comfortable. Parking was simple. The only hiccup was the AC went out but the owners were very responsive and had it fixed and restored within a few hours. Great place to stay in St. Thomas if you're looking for views, beach, pool, and close proximity to night life!

Beachfront paradise

This is the perfect location right on the beach. We had a great time! The owner was very responsive from start to finish. Also, they were very accommodating. We had an issue where we were a day late and they extended our stay by 1 day to make up for it. We had to stay another extra day because of Spirit Airlines and luckily there was no one coming in that day and they allowed us to rent another day. Definitely would stay in this unit again.

Sapphire Beach

We were at Sapphire Beach in May 2022 and now again in March 2023. Enjoyed the property even more than before and will definitely stay again. Unfortunately, we did not anticipate an exterminator was going to come into this particular unit and we would have to clean up the mess he left. Otherwise things went fine.

Aimee and I live in Pittsburgh, PA and try to get to St. Thomas as often as possible. With a kid and two dogs, it's not always that easy.

After spending our honeymoon at Sapphire Beach Resort in 2000, we knew this was one of the nicest beaches we had been to. We traveled to Aruba, Mexico, Bahamas, Punt Cana, and all of the other popular vacation spots but we kept coming back to Sapphire Beach. There is something to be said about feeling safe, and still being in the US helps. Everyone is friendly and there is always something to do.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This condo truly is the best location at Sapphire. You are far enough from the main beach and pool that you get to relax at all times. Conversely, take 40 or 50 steps and you are at the pool. Walk a little further and you are at the marina. You are centrally located with easy access to everything.
We go shopping as soon as we arrive and usually eat breakfast and lunch in the condo. Aimee and I are beach people, so being at the beach is what it is all about for us. At night we head into Red Hook to one of the restaurants. Duffy's Love Shack is a must visit, but don't go too early. The party has to wind itself up!
