We rented this house for our wedding weekend and it accommodated the entire bridal party perfectly and everyone had plenty of room. House was clean and had all of the amenities needed for a relaxing post wedding weekend

Very good space for large travel group. Not enough cups & plates for everyone. Inside was visually clean, but floors had a dirty film on them. Outside back porch & seating needs a lot of cleaning off - the seats & surroundings all had a lot of spider webs & bugs. Reached out to the host the first day & did not get a resolution response.

We were in town for the Spartan Race in Newberry. The house was the perfect location for our families. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of room for hanging out and still being together. The views of the lake from the deck were fabulous. We will be in town again next year and will be booking again. The showers and bathrooms were all stocked and great. Plenty of room for parking. Don’t delay, book your stay now!!

Spring Break 2025

We enjoyed our stay at your very spacious and peaceful home by the lake! It’s just what we needed to enjoy Spring Break with our two teens. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and everything we needed was within a reasonable distance. Thank you :)

Comfortable Lake House for Large Group

Main house is great. Comfortable and well equiped. Beautiful location on Lake Murray. Wonderful porch looking onto the water. The outside of the house especially down around the patio needs to be cleaned for the summer season. Management responded to minor issues with garden lights etc. These are minor and the main house was perfect for our graduation week at Lake Murray which is beautiful.

Great location!

Great location! Spacious! Bedrooms and baths were clean. Window sills inside and outside had dead bugs and webs on them. The outside had not been cleaned in a while. Vines growing up through front porch floor. We had to clean porch furniture before we could sit down.

Perfect for our Family

The upstairs/downstairs setup was perfect for us. The living space upstairs was spacious and allowed for the family to be doing different things but still be all together. Winter arrived in full force, but the firepit became the outside huddle spot. Cornhole (and TV) covered something for everyone. We brought a TV from home since outside TVs weren't working. We will return.

Beautiful large Lake House

What a wonderful house for our family! All our older kids stayed downstairs, while the rest of us were upstairs. It's a fantastic layout for a large group or family. The shared boat dock is well set up for bringing a boat rental & a seadoo in. Marina to get gas is pretty close by as well. There are many wonderful things about the house and exterior areas to enjoy when not out on the lake. We ordered groceries from Publix to be delivered, as you are about 15-20 minutes away from shopping needs. We tried to plan so we wouldn't have to leave the lake. The only negative for us was that the exterior wasn't cleaned at all. It needs a deep clean with a pressure washer. We just made the best of it and did our best to clean up the exterior with a vacuum and broom so we could use the space. My son fixed the exterior TV and string lights so we could watch college football and enjoy dinner with everyone on a Saturday night outside - the space is wonderful!

The size of the property was great for our family of 14. The kitchen was great. The living rooms were great I just wish it had been as clean as it was advertised to be. The lake view was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the kayaks. Parking was great. However it appeared not to have been thoroughly cleaned in months. We had to vacuum bugs off the night stands and bed in one room. There were bugs in each corner of the dining area and cobwebs on all ceiling fans. The black stone grill, which we were told we could use (even a note on the fridge) hadn’t been cleaned for so long it was rusty and bits of food greasy. Wasps nests under the railings. The air conditioning unit is housed in the mini suite. The 2nd to the last night we were there, the overflow by plan clogged up and water leaked into the closet of the master bedroom. Water everywhere. We called and were sent a guy who drained the pain but our family members had to sleep upstairs on the couches the last night and had to dry out their bags. One toilet had rings on the inside. The bar area down by the patio with the sink and fridge, where we were supposed to be able to clean fish, hadn’t been cleaned in months. We had family fun but I’d like my cleaning deposit back as you did not live up to expectations of what a VRBO rental should be. I also feel we should be refunded one night as our family didn’t get to use everything we could have and we’re inconvenienced by the air conditioning system flood.
