Great clean home. Small but worked fine for us. One adult, 2 teens and a 10 yr old. Beds were comfortable and basic necessities were there.. didn't have to buy TP, dish soap..etc. always nice to have that. Used the firepit one night. Bring your own starter.. we found some dry tender and finally got it going. There was wood. Owner was responsive the entire stay even when a storm took out the power. It's VERY close to ATV trails, we only heard them when they were coming down the main road so noise was not an issue. It could use some upgrading, so don't come expecting 5 star finishes and amenities. For instance, there's no dishwasher. The drive up from town was a winding mountain road, several blind spots so drive slow and it's narrow in spots. The one lane driveway, locked with a gate, was gravel/dirt. We had a big van so we had to use the backgate to get the vehicle around because there wasn't enough space to turn around. If you're pulling a big trailer or have a low profile vehicle, I would suspect you're out of luck-check with the owner. The road to the back gate was perfect for us however. The town was run down, several places were closed and the only grocery store was an oversized Dollar General. Walmart and other stores are about 20 min away. Oh and the TV remotes were either missing batteries or they were dead. I suspect no one told the owner- he seems pretty on top of things.
