A newly renovated home with a rustic elegant theme. Sits on 5 acres in the small unincorporated town of Pfeifer Kansas. Private bedroom with queen bed, loft with full size and twin bed. Sleeper sofa in living room. Complete kitchen with cooking essentials. Washer and dryer, central heat and air conditioning. Water treatment system. Full bathroom with custom built shower. Great, out of the way farmhouse to stay with dogs. Very comfortable and nicely decorated.

Incredible Getaway

This cabin is a great property. We stayed while driving cross country and it was just a short distance from 70 but seemed like a world away. Extremely clean and well stocked, we grilled and fixed a nice dinner with groceries we brought and needed nothing. The dog yard is super and a nice size. And the area is so quiet! We’ll definitely here again if in the area.

2nd visit still absolutely amazing

This little spot if cozy and sweet. It's always a dream to stay here (and the cinnamon rolls are always a hit!) Our pups love the great yard! If you need a place to stay in the area this is it.

Always a pleasant place to stop and rest on a long drive. A little off the beaten path, which makes it absolutely perfect and quiet.

Property was located in A small town, so quiet and peaceful cabin was done perfectly and it was a welcome site for us not to mention the cinnamon rolls left in the refrigerator for us That was fantastic

Our stay was very short (just one night). However, we found the cabin exactly as advertised! It was very clean, well appointed and relaxing! We would definitely recommend and hope to go back for a longer stay!

Peace and quiet

it was the perfect place to stop along my travels, lovely, accommodations and cordial hosts. The cinnamon rolls were wonderful. The place has a rustic charm with completely updated living spaces.

Cinnimon Rolls and Eggs! beautiful home

I want to come back, I loved having coffee to the sound of ducks, geese, cows, and dogs. Loved the location and the work you have put into everything. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home. Can't wait to plan a trip out your way again.

Perfect Getaway

Relaxing!

Very cordial hosts! It was so nice to sleep on a comfy bed when traveling. The cinnamon rolls were even tastier this time! Thankful to have enjoyed a lovely sunset and sunrise. We hope to return soon, thank you!

This was the perfect end to our vacation. The cabin was so cozy, clean and comfortable. Our family loved it there. We were able to sleep really well and we made it home the next day and felt refreshed. 100 percent recommend. Oh and we loved our surprise cinnamon rolls!!

Ft Hays Rural Social Work

We were a film crew making a documentary. The location was in Ft. Hays. Whispering Wind was superior in every way. The hosts were great. The cabin was spotless. The beds were comfortable. It was easy to get to.

Cozy and relaxing stay

The cabin is meticulously maintained and no detail has been overlooked. We had everything we needed - kitchen-wise - to make a nice dinner and enjoyed sitting on the back deck before dinner while our pups explored the fenced yard. Beds are comfy and you just can't beat falling asleep under one of the beautiful hand-made quits. We spent a few minutes at the Three Crosses Church before we left the area (it is just down the road) and it was well worth the time. An amazing architectural wonder and the inside is even more beautiful than the outside.

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was a perfect stop on our trip. It is nice to be out in the country away from the hustle and bustle of everything. Its also much less stressful for my dogs. :) We loved seeing the beautiful horses and enjoyed the serene landscape and quietness. We are excited to stay here again on our trip back!
