Blue View charming lakeside cottage with large deck and beautiful lake views

Blue view offers guests a modern lakeside cottage that has been thoughtfully appointed with your comfort in mind. Guests will sleep in one of the two private bedrooms in a queen bed with ample room. A galley style kitchen with full size appliances and cookware allow our guests the choice to stay in for meals. Blue view has a large deck with magnificent views for you to enjoy your morning cup of coffee while listening to the song birds. Spend the day fishing off the dock, or explore the lake in the kayaks provided. At night enjoy sitting by the firepit as you relax with a glass of wine from one of the nearby vineyards.

Very nice house on the lake. Well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats go by. We would return the next time we’re in the area.

Blue View is absolutely amazing! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and beautiful lakefront view. Two kayaks come with the rental. The host has thought of everything and was quick with her responses. We highly recommend this lake house.

We had wonderfull weak. The definitely filled the bill, it was definitely exactly what we expected by the pictures and the write up is there at least sitting down on the dark just reading a book for swim I’m reading some more. I highly recommend it.

What a beautiful home and wonderful time we had at Blue View! True to its name the house is beautifully decorated in calming blues and Sherri has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable! The house had everything we needed for a week getaway and all of the little extras from shampoo and body wash to kitchen spices and coffee were great! We also loved all of the thoughtful features of the home such as additional hanging hooks in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The home was very clean and Sherri answered all questions I had very quickly. If we vacation again at High Rock, I will not hesitate to stay at Blue View!!

Wonderful lakefront property with great amenities. Beds were comfortable & all appliances worked great. Kitchen well stocked with dishes & pots/pans. Enjoyed the dock & porch so much. Recommend the Old 64 Diner on weekends…not too far to drive.

Our family had a quick getaway to this lovely lakefront home. From the moment we walked in, we could see numerous small details Sherri and Bill had covered. Everything was just as described in the listing. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Most importantly, the house was SPOTLESS! It allowed us to feel very comfortable during our time away. We enjoyed spending lots of time on the covered deck and down at the dock and found the surroundings to be very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend this property! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

I was absolutely impressed with this place. The host was very friendly and informative. The home was just as pictured, very clean, peaceful and the lake view was breath-taking. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

I rented Blue View at the very last minute with my 15- year-old son who had a two day golf tournament nearby. It was such a perfect place and a soft landing after a long day of golf. He was able to fish and we enjoyed fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. Sherri was lovely and very responsive. I would recommend.
A little fishing never hurts!

We made core memories during our stay at this beautiful house. My daughter enjoyed her very first roasted marshmallow around the fire pit, and my son is still talking about the “vacation house at the lake”. Thank you for allowing us to safely and comfortably stay at your sweet home!

Peaceful getaway!

Me and my boyfriend took a weekend trip here, we are from the area and we absolutely loved it! It was so clean and cute, you could tell it was a new property and it had everything we needed with an amazing view, definitely recommend!

Sparkling Clean

Our favorite thing about this place is that it is sparkling clean. The house has a great layout and a beautiful view. Wonderful place to relax.

Great fishing trip

My friend and I booked a little fishing weekend away for our husband and they had the best time. They loved the house, location and the fishing. It had everything they needed and said it was the perfect place to get away! They’re planning to make it a yearly event at the same location.

We had such a relaxing stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was spotless from top to bottom — you can tell the hosts really take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming. Weekend with family

Cozy, clean cabin for weekend getaway in December. Everything went smoothly and quiet area at this time of year. Definitely recommend for small group and with deck during summer months would be very nice. Host was very responsive and helpful if needed.

Blue View is absolutely beautiful! A GEM! It was peaceful and serene, clean and neat. Sherri made everything SO easy. We would highly recommend staying at Blue View!

Wonderful

I stayed at Blue View during a visit to Wake Forest University. It was a 45 minute drive to campus but I booked too late for family weekend to get any closer to Winston Salem. I must say, the house, the deck, the solitude was worth the drive!! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The owners were responsive. I would definitely recommend this stay!

This is what vacations are made of!!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I was more than excited to head to the Lake and spend time at Sherri and Bill’s little piece of heaven, “Blue View”! I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday by booking this gorgeous place for a long weekend. He was beyond excited and being here truly provided us a time to reset and just rest from the craziness of life. Communication with Sherri was always so easy as she responded quickly! The house was so clean and it smelled new when we walked in! The beds were so soft and loved the linens! They have decorated the Lake house so beautifully and from every angle, you could see the lake! They truly put so much thought into the little things while you are away from home. What an amazing time! We are already talking about when we can return! I can’t wait! Thank you both for the opportunity to stay at your precious Lake house. It was everything we dreamed of and more!!
