Very nice secluded location perfect for peaceful relaxing. Cabin was clean and as described. My family enjoyed the surrounding trails and coming back at the end of the day to relax in the hot tub. The only issue we had was the igniter on the grill did not work but purchased a lighter and problem solved. Would definitely book this cabin again.

The showers are terrible because there’s zero water pressure. And the road in and out in either direction is a pretty daunting task if you are not from the area, quite dangerousOther than those two things, the place was absolutely fantastic. Beautiful, clean, quiet, and very relaxing.We enjoyed greatly.

Very nice pet friendly cabin. Inside was very pretty and clean. Roomy. Would fit 8 people comfortably. The beds, however, were not comfortable, and those sleeping on the first floor can hear everything from the second. The hot tub is large and works well but needs a good scrub. The fire table was a nice touch but there were no instructions for it or the grill so you’re on your own. Definitely bring in your toiletries for the bathrooms. You receive small hotel toiletries but no bath sized soap for the shower. Good WiFi and tv. Comfy couches. Lots of blankets. Very remote. A long drive into the forest on very narrow roads and you must be eagle eyed to find the property gate. I wouldn’t try it at night. The road is gravel and there is a very sharp turn to get to the cabin. The setting is lovely. You can see the river from the cabin

We did want to clarify a few things for future guests. Instructions for both the fire table and grill are available in our digital Cabin Guide, which is sent to every guest upon booking. While our listing notes that guests should bring their own personal toiletries, we do provide shampoo and body wash for their convenience. We also provide a direct Google Maps pin to the cabin and strongly recommend using Google Maps for navigation, as other mapping apps may not provide accurate directions in this remote area. We truly appreciate your feedback and are happy you were able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and beautiful river views. It has a beautiful property close to a lot of trails and easy access to the main road. The gate gives you piece of mind to stop wanderers. The only slight hiccup is we didn't expect groundskeepers to be there during our stay but they provided minimal disruption.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin. The cabin itself was clean. The porch is another story. The porch is very dirty and should be cleaned as most guests want to sit out there and enjoy it. The doors to the cabin are very dirty and need some attention. We were only left with one towel per person and not enough wash rags per person. Two dish towels and two hand towels for a 5-day stay. You need to leave more towels when people are staying that long. Communication with the host was excellent, we asked for more towels to be brought and she did have the cleaning person bring us more. Also, on the advertisement for this particular cabin it says there's a washer and dryer. However there is not. So I believe your advertisement for this cabin should be updated.

The cabin was initially stocked with eight bath towels and four spa towels for your group, but we completely understand that additional towels can be helpful during a longer stay. We also wanted to clarify for future guests that the cabin does have a washer and dryer available for guest use. The laundry area is located down the steps on the lower level of the property. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify that amenity and will review our guest information to make sure its location is as clear as possible. We booked this for a family "camping" trip for my mom, who is unable to actually camp. A cabin in the woods with only one step up and first floor bedroom was perfect for our needs. Before the trip time came, she ended up needing to be in a wheelchair. It was a little tricky getting get up on the porch, but there were no issues once up there. The place isn't advertised as being accessible, but it was fairly accessible for a small chair with assistance! Overall, the cabin was great. A quiet retreat in the woods. There are a few maintenance issues, like buckled flirting and the fire pit on the porch in the pictures isn't there anymore. We only had one small issue (no laundry detergent), and the hosts were quick to respond and resolved it. We would definitely book here again if looking for this sort of trip again

Could use a good power wash. The beds are not very comfortable. The driveway is big once you get in it, but it's a bear to get in and out of. Can't really get to the river from the cabin, huge incline. Which was a downer. But it accommodated us for the people we had. The drive to get there is a doozy also. Would probably not stay again, as it just wasn't what we thought it was going to be!

It was just that there was barely any service and I couldn’t text her cause she had a text now instead of like Apple so we could text through Wi-Fi and there is no propane so we couldn’t use the grill and or the fireplace

Cell service can be limited in parts of Red River Gorge depending on your carrier, though the cabin does provide Wi-Fi for guests during their stay. Regarding the grill and fireplace, both are connected to a large on-site propane tank that is monitored regularly, so they should remain operational throughout guest stays. We wish we had known about the issue during your visit, as we would have been happy to help troubleshoot and ensure everything was working properly. We loved our stay here! The location was amazing. It was quiet and secluded, but we were able to walk to several hiking trails. The view from the deck was beautiful and we used the hot tub everyday. There was plenty of room for everyone. We communicated with the host a couple of times and they responded quickly. Would stay again!

The house was in a great location for enjoying hiking. The back porch offers incredible views and was enjoyable for eating dinner. The house was big enough for our group of four. The biggest downfall was the house was dirty. It really could use a good cleaning. This is why I didn’t give it a five stars rating. I still would recommend it if you want to be close to hiking trails.

My two younger daughters loved this cabin. Between the fire-pits and smores to the sitting by the rivers edge, they loved this perfect secluded hike in the woods!

The cabin it self is very nice and the views were amazing the only thing is the grill had no gas neither did the big table so we couldn’t use them during our stay and also the small gas table in the pictures is no longer there

We loved the fire pit & outdoor eating space on the deck, the hot tub was great, beds were comfortable & the house is lovely. The location is amazing…felt like we were the only people in RRG! Could not have been better— we’ll definitely be back!
