Beautiful farm property, very quiet and very peaceful. The farm cat was friendly and loving and was a delightful to be greeted in the morning and every time we returned. The morning walks in the adjacent meadow for the pups were amazing too. A must stay :)

Lovely property! Perfect for people with pets who want a relaxing time in the country. The yard is not fenced so any dog not trained to stay with you must be on a leash.

This was a great place to stay! A wonderful farm setting with everything you need. Beautiful country around it, and so nice inside too. The host had gone out of his way to make it a special trip for our anniversary. We stayed here to go to a concert at Bethel Woods, and to enjoy some of the sights in the towns around the county. Staying here really added to our enjoyment of the trip.

John is extremely responsive and helpful. His breakfast recommendation was spot on! The place was wonderful and as described. It rained all day when we were there so we never had a chance to explore the property but it sounds amazing. Will definitely check here first if we’re back in the area!

Nice winter weekend

Very cute place to stay. Thanks for the beer. Got a tour of the grounds from Ron Alaskan bush pilot! Love that the tasting room was a hangar! We have a lovely stay and look forward to returning.

Great location, trails, food and beer.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were able to walk over to the Tastying Room for dinner and a beer. Trails for hiking are maintained on the property. Host was responsive to needs. Thanks.

We had a lovely experience overall. Although there was an unexpected issue upon arrival, John was incredibly kind, communicative, and responsive to us. The property itself was very clean, peaceful, and located on a quiet farm setting. There are three barn cats that wander the property and are the sweetest, people-loving animals. We also appreciated the thoughtful basket of sweet and savory snacks waiting for guests. We would absolutely consider staying again in the future.

Home away from home

This place was absolutely perfect for our 2 day stay! The owner was super friendly and even allowed us to check in early. We toured the property, visited the tasting room, and even had a private tour of the wine cellar (it was so cool!). We attended the Catbird music festival in Bethel for the weekend and the location was excellent!

Weekend Getaway

It was very clean and relaxing. We made friends with the three barn cats. They were so friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Thanks for having us John, Joanna, and Ron.

QUIET!

We stayed here so we could attend the Willie Nelson concert at Bethel Woods. House was as nice as advertised and check in/check out was an absolute breeze. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

Clean, beautiful, picturesque

Definitely recommend. The three orange barn cats were the most welcoming hosts we'd ever met! Property is impeccably clean. Walk to the brewery is short and also beautiful. Thank you for a nice stay!

Hops Farm Visit

We had a short stay but a great one. Great stay on a beautiful working farm. The host made us feel like a part of his project. The "barn cats" are very polite and offer an unusually friendly welcome. We went for a wedding, We would go back just to relax.

This property is fantastic. Quiet, out-of-the-way, and beautiful. It was dark enough at night I got to take some star photos. There are mowed trails my husband ran with our dog. If we get back this way, we'll try to stay here again.

Hops and cats

We had a great stay and loved the property! We hiked all over and hung with the barn cats and enjoyed the beer. Hoping the next time we see a show at Bethel Woods we can bring friends and use the whole house.

Amazing, scenic location

A farm, brewery, plenty of nature and peace and quiet. What more could you ask for? Turns out, there was more. A beautiful apartment. Cozy, comfortable and all to ourselves. We can't wait to come back.

Cozy retreat away with hubby

What a cute property! Hubby is a beer enthusiast and was elated to stay on second districts hop farm! We hit up Barley creek brewing, here and now brewing, runaway train brewing,wallenpaupack brewing and hopping eagle brewing. The property is very private and has all the amenities of home. I particularly enjoyed the barn cats!

Great Location

Small but a great location for 2 to 3 travelers. My sister and I booked this location. When she was looking for a place to stay when picking up her daughter from camp. We were pleasantly surprised with amazing communication with the venue's owner's a clean, pleasant environment, beautiful facilities, and walking distance of a trendy fun brew house.
