Welcome to Gerber Lake Home! WE WILL NOT BOOK THE NEXT SUMMER AS THIS SUMMER’S GUESTS HAVE 1st PRIORITY (2 weeks from checkout!) to book for the next summer! 7 night rentals, Friday to Friday, are required from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 2 night minimum stay the rest of the year. Escape the hustle and bustle of life to this large, lakefront home on Jimmerson Lake which is on the Lake James chain. This 6 bedroom, 4 bath 4600 square foot home has lots of space to relax and have fun. It has 2 separate living rooms each with its own tv. The upper level entertainment area includes a pool table, hoop shoot game. The newly remodeled main floor & The beautiful new kitchen which overlooks the lake, has granite counter-tops and is fully furnished. All linens are provided except beach towels.
Enjoy our updated fire pit area and spacious patio with new furniture, 2 tables seating 4 people each with umbrellas, 1 larger table seating 8 people with an umbrella, mini bar with stools, gliders and a tree swing.
The sparkling, in-ground swimming pool with retractable cover is the perfect place to stay cool and have fun. Heated pool is open May 1 - mid October (*Weather Permitting*) The large patio has a year-round hot tub, tables and chairs to enjoy dining outside or pack some firewood to relax around the fire pit while roasting marshmallows in the evening. (firewood NOT provided)
This home is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, Pokagon State Park, movie theaters, winery, and many other area attractions. It is also close to the Public Boat Access to launch your boat. There are 2 Jet Ski Floating Docks for use. A state park pass is included and 3 kayaks and a jon row boat are available for your enjoyment. (there are a couple life vest but suggest to bring your own)

We stayed here the last week of August 2026. We have rented several different homes over the years and this one rates among the best. It has everything you need to have a great time. The entire property was very comfortable and clean. We even made friends with the neighbors and enjoyed many conversations together. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days and had a great time exploring the lakes and seeing what the area had to offer. Angola is close enough to make local grocery shopping, church and restaurants a breeze to get to. We desperately want to rent it again next summer, if it is available. We sincerely thank Steve and Gayla for sharing their wonderful home with us. Ralph

It is hard to find a place big enough for our family. The place was big and all the grandchildren enjoyed the pool and kayaks. The view was amazing enjoyed my morning coffee out on the dock. Plenty of seating outside. Thank you so much for sharing your lake house with us. PS our last night there was a bad storm and lost power BUT the generator kicked on so we were able to pack up the next morning and have coffee.

EVERYTHING was Just PERFECT!!!!! The large kitchen was equipped with everything you could imagined. The Lake House was So SPACIOUS we never felt crowded. AND The patio was Just BEAUTIFUL!!!! Several different sitting areas to enjoy. The Location was just Perfect!!! Kayaking, canoeing, fishing, relaxing in the pool or watching our grandkids play an EXCITING game of basketball!! It was ENJOYED by ALL!! The hot to relax in. We brought our own paddle boards and rented a boat so the grandkids enjoyed their water skiing and tubing!!!! THANK YOU for Sharing your Beautiful Lake House with us!!! We filled it with SO Much Love and Laughter and made SO MANY PRICELESS Memories. Already looking forward for our stay next year!! Thanks Again!!!

This was a wonderful home to spend our family Thanksgiving location. We had 16 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was well stock with all the amenities we needed. We're already planning on staying here again for next year's Thanksgiving.

This was our fourth family stay at this lovely home. We especially love the views, the outdoor space, and the family sized dining table. Hopefully, we will return again in the spring.

Our family truly enjoyed the space. Pool and hot tub are well maintained, location is scenic and peaceful and the house was clean and spacious. Will definitely get another trip booked in the near future.

Thank you for allowing us to use your rental this weekend. It worked out perfect for our group. We got out around 9 am this morning and following the list of check out. All of it was great and that patio furniture is amazing. Thank you again.

Our family and some of the kids' friends spent Easter weekend at the property. The weather would be the only complaint. It was lovely the first two days, and then it took a cold turn. The kids still used the boat, and we all used the hot tub. We made a night of the firepit. The views from inside and out are absolutely fabulous and relaxing to the soul. We are definitely interested in coming back once the pool opens.

ANOTHER AMAZING VACATION
We have stayed at the Jimmerson Lake House for the last few years and couldn't be more pleased. Everything was absolutely perfect... the pool, the accomodations and attentiveness of the home owner. VERY highly recommend this property

This lake home is located in the bottle neck between the two basins so boats need to slow down for a few minutes as its Idle zone in front of the property. So its nice to sit and see all the different boats idle through the pass from one basin to the next.
Qué distingue a esta propiedad
Our property is at a dead end so not much traffic. We did install artificial turf in 2021 during our outdoor living space expansion which helps for the turf not getting muddy or die-out when tubes or things left lying on the turf for some time. Also being able to sit, swim or float in the pool while overlooking the lake enjoying the boaters, sites, and/or sunsets. We try to maintain the pool temps at 88 degrees from May to mid October for the comfort of our guests!
