Enjoy an amazing sunrise and sunset from the balcony of our Lake James home. This clean and bright lakefront home offers majestic views of the lake during any season. The efficient open floor plan includes vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace. This 3,000 square foot home has four bedrooms, 3 baths, and sleeps 16. Basement offers extra living area including large TV, and full bath. You can access the lake from the lower level. Enjoy a quiet ride across the lake in a kayak or go fishing off the dock in front of the cottage. The cottage is conveniently located close to Pokagon State Park, Tom's Donuts, Yo Yo's Ice Cream, and shopping at Tanger Outlet. Create lasting memories in our lakefront home. We have a pontoon for rent upon request.

wonderful place to stay

the hostesses were beyond friendly and the home is beautiful. we enjoyed are stay very much we had just enough room and being able to swim off the dock was a big plus.

The property was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. there was plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the use of the boat and kayaks. Hostess was easy to work with and very responsive. Great experience overall.

Bachelorette lake trip

The house and pontoon was perfect. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. It was very close to the sand bar by boat which we enjoyed. Also we were able to walk or drive to the state park to enjoy the trails.

Fantastic property on exceptional lake

Everything about this property is as nice as it was described in the listing. Owners were great at communicating and answering questions. This is a clean and well maintained property. We brought a couple boats with us and enjoyed many hours in the boat and also swimming off the dock. We shared the place as a large extended family and very much enjoyed our time here. Would love to stay here again, hopefully next summer.

Perfect location, great house, wonderful view of the lake

The property was very clean, house had plenty of space and room to sleep for our four families and kids. Kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed. Owners were easy to communicate with. Location is right around the corner from the sand bar and the views of the lake were amazing and very relaxing. Would definitely rent this property again!

Great Lake location with amazing view!

This lake house was huge with plenty of space for everyone. The location was secluded and right next to a beautiful state park along with a short drive to restaurants and downtown. The owners were extremely nice and communicated well. They were also very flexible. We will 100% VRBO here again.

Perfect Lake Home for a Family Vacation!

We had a great experience with this rental. The house has a beautiful lake view, nice front yard, plenty of space, and dock access for boating. The owner was very communicative even though not much was needed with everything ready to go. Having used several VRBO rentals and other properties on Lake James, I would highly recommend this property.

Easter/Birthdays/Trine lacrosse weekend

The house is in a perfect location. Right near Pokagon State Park. Near the lodge, where more family stayed. We were able to celebrate birthdays on Saturday and Easter on Sunday. Plenty of beds for our crew.

Trine Graduation weekend

Perfect location to celebrate graduation from Trine. This is our third time renting the house. Some family stayed at Pokagon and the rest at the house. Enjoyed a barbecue and hanging out with the family.

Beautiful home on wonderful Lake James

My family and I recently travels to Lake James for a family get together and had the pleasure of staying at this lovely home right on the lakefront. The home was clean, spacious and comfortable with more than enough space for our five person group. The homeowner was very responsive to questions posed prior to our arrival. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay at the lake and hope to return myself in the future.

Absolutely the nicest and cleanest place we’ve been!

We cannot wait to come back! This home and accommodations were more than we expected. So beautiful, so safe and quiet, loved watching the boats and watercrafts all throughout the day. The views from each room are exactly what vacation should be, unforgettable. Breakfast outside, fishing, boating and paddle boarding were some of our best times and then topping off the great day with roasting marshmallows at the fire pit each evening! We are not saying goodbye easily, we miss this home and lake already and are making plans to return! Thank you to the owners for making it everything amazing, but most of all for your priceless hospitality!!!!!!!

Beautiful setting on Lake James within walking distance to Pokagon State Park.

We stayed here for a winter weekend getaway with 3 other couples. The house is a great size with a beautiful view. It is within walking distance to Pokagon State Park. We spent a day in the park cross country skiing, hiking and, of course, heading down the toboggan run a couple of times! We had dinner at the house one night and then out in Angola another. Our hosts could not have been nicer. They are very conscientious and you can tell by the condition and cleanliness of the home. We highly recommend this rental and plan on returning.

Family vacation

We had a great trip with our family of 5 and 2 four year olds. The house and location were fantastic. Plenty of room at the house for everyone to get together and also have time to themselves. A bathroom and shower on each floor was perfect. The kids loved swimming all day next to the dock while we fished from the dock. We enjoyed going on a few pontoon boat rides looking at the beautiful lake and area. A plus was the close proximity to Pokagon state park entrance. We hiked and the kids played at the playground and the nature center was a bonus. Happy 4 year olds happy adults. Looking forward to 2024 with a larger group !! The lake house is very spacious.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

We had a wonderful short weekend away in this cozy house. The house itself was very clean and so well-stocked—more than any house we’ve rented in the past. It had everything we needed for a fun family weekend getaway in the fall. The owners communicate quickly if anything is needed. The pictures don’t do the beautiful home and its views justice. The large main living area and tall windows make for beautiful views of the lake. The three separate levels all have bedrooms and bathrooms, which made it perfect for our three families to have separate, ample space and stay in one house. Pokagon State Park is a must-see and is down the road from the house. Highly recommend this house and hope to return in the future!

Wonderful lake, spacious house

Family reunion with four teens and seven adults. Plenty of room to spend time together but also have time to oneself. Kitchen was very enjoyable to use: centrally located and great views of lake while cooking. We had a great time fishing, playing bean bag toss, paddling kayaks, swimming, and sitting around the campfire at night. We had just enough chairs for the 11 of us. Lake was unusually clear, so very nice for swimming. Just down the shore is a beach with a larger swim area. Stores are just 10 minutes away: Meijer, Wal-Mart, Menards, etc. Location is very close to highway and easy to find. Note: there are many stairs to get down to the house from parking and from the house to the beach (1 full flight each). Parking for 5 vehicles. Great communication with owners. Clean, beautiful space. Would definitely come back again.

Great lake and location

The lake and amenities of the lake house were wonderful. Location only has 5 parking spots so make arrangements if needed.

Perfect Lake House Getaway

I stayed here with 7 of my friends for my bachelor party. The house is beautiful and so big! The location on Lake James is perfect and the owner let us rent their pontoon for an additional charge. The owners are an extremely nice couple and I can’t wait to come back next summer for another get together with my college friends.

The Coy’s were absolutely fantastic. Such home fun home for 3 families with kids. Highly recommend.

The renters were very responsive, helpful, and supplied an amazing experience for our 3 families. The yard was a hit for kids and the beach area was perfect for in the water. We had plenty of space to bring and dock other watercrafts. They provided plenty of toys for kids and adults. The fire pit was a night time hit as well. We would definitely recommend and would rent again in the future ourselves.
