When you reported the air-conditioning issue, we provided instructions for adjusting the thermostat and arranged for maintenance to attend to the filter the following afternoon. Our records show that your rescheduling request arrived two days before check-in, and we responded that morning to ask about your preferred dates. We subsequently declined the change under the booking’s cancellation terms. The later exchange escalated, and we refused access to the property. We recognize that this went beyond a disagreement about cancellation and that clearer communication before your planned arrival was needed. We regret the distress and frustration this caused you and your son.
