Great weekend getaway

House was very nice, great location steps from the Warren Store and Warren Path. Babbling brook out back was wonderful white noise for sleeping. A great spot for our family of 3!

We booked this property as a last minute trip for some R&R in the Vermont woods to see the last week of the autumn color. Surrounded on two sides by a rolling brook and across the street from a town trail this home provided a setting that was both relaxing and romantic. A quick walk into the town brings you into a Hallmark movie. The location is also worth noting as it was easy to get to numerous waterfalls, covered bridges, great restaurants, cider mills and quaint towns. We even got to experience an early snowfall which made this trip truly magical. The house comes stocked with everything you need but it is a shoeless home, so bring your slippers to keep by the front door.

We really enjoyed our time at the River House. Check-in with Chris was super easy and the home was in impeccable condition when we arrived. The entry garden is so lovely, the kitchen is well appointed and the back porch overlooking the brook is completely relaxing. We found the accommodations very comfortable and perfectly located in Warren for the activities we had planned!

Couldn’t have asked for more

The house is great! 3 couples stayed very comfortably. The babbling brook in the back yard and the easy stroll to the Warren general store helped make the house exceeded my expectations. Would stay again.

The house was very comfortable and walking paths nearby were well noted and easily accessible. We had great weather and relaxed for a quick getaway with our family. This felt like home and allowed us to keep in touch with the family. Spent alot of time on the back porch and the yard playing bocci. Hope to to be back in the area soon.

Beautiful house overlooking the river. Check in and communication with owner was easy. Great kitchen, very comfy beds, lovely deck over the river. There’s a lovely hiking path across the street and a very short walk to the center of the charming town of Warren. Nice restaurants in the area, lots of hiking trails and close to Sugarbush Mountain. Be aware that the steps to the second floor are steep. There is a half bath on the first floor but this also requires negotiating 3 steps. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here immensely!
