Staying at this cabin truly felt like stepping back in time in the most beautiful way! It was the sweetest, most charming little country home, full of character and that cozy, peaceful feeling you just can’t find everywhere. The views were absolutely beautiful, and we loved every little thing about this place. There’s something so special about the simplicity and charm of country living, and this home captured it perfectly. It was such a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay and would absolutely love to come back!

Booked this place for a getaway to go ride the mountain! Close to all our favorite spots to ride and not too far from cove creek! Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay while riding trails and hiking during a hot spring weekend. Check in and check out is very easy.

We had a wonderful stay here!! The house is well cared for and in a beautiful location. We enjoyed getting to sit on the porch or back deck and enjoy the weather. We could hike nearby on the wma or go into the park. We honestly loved not having WiFi and there was a great selection of VHS tapes and a few board games. It was a wonderful trip to disconnect from the busyness of life and actually spend time together.

Mount Magazine spring 2024 trip

Great location and close to trails so we could eat lunch at the cabin. Always enjoy our stay and riding.

Another great stay at Rich Mountain, it rained the entire weekend but we had a lot of fun riding our ATV , UTV and dirt bikes. We rode in rain gear so no dust but lots of mud. The fall colors arrived during our stay. Thanks for the hospitality Kelly and James.

Very cute and nice. It was a great place to stay to show our kids where there grandpa crew up. Only downside was no WiFi too far to get a signal

Fun trip off grid

We loved the location and then kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans. The back deck/porch was wonderful for morning Bible studies before hitting the trails. The main trail was very close so the location is great.

SXS riding weekend

Just what we were looking for. The house and location were great. Only downfall was AT&T phone service doesn't work great in that area and no wifi. Over all great place and would stay again.

Rich Mountain Cabin

Check in & out was super easy. House fit our weekend needs. Quite country setting. Do highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Awesome 2025 Spring Break Mx and ATV trip!!!!

Always love staying at this location. Easy trail access. Great time riding and poor cell phone coverage in area helps friends and family enjoy each other rather than being distracted by technology. We always try to leave the yard and house in great shape when we leave.

Great Getaway

We love this location. Close to the trails for SXS riding. Just know there is no wifi or cell service at the immediate location. Which we knew before renting this location again.Great place and the owners are great to work with with. Would definitely stay again.

Great ATV location

The property was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The owners were super helpful and quick to respond to questions. Great location for accessing the trails. Tons of parking available. In a beautiful setting and we all enjoyed watching the horses while having our morning coffee. I loved the flag pole! Would stay again!

The property was exactly as described in the listing - very lovely, rustic and serene I wish I had taken a bit of time to get a better map of the location. GPS routed us two different ways between the house and Mount Magazine Lodge and shut down before reaching out destination making our return from dinner less than ideal. That was entirely on us however. Our host had been very upfront about the limitations of cell signals in that location.
