A Cozy A-Frame near Patoka Lake and French Lick

This amazing property is great for your family festivities, fishing/hunting trip, or a simple relaxing get-a-way. It is 5 minutes from Patoka Lake, 10 minutes from downtown French Lick attractions, and a half mile from beautiful Tucker Lake. It suits a romantic get a way for couples, family, or group up to 6 people. Book with us now for your much needed retreat.

The home features a fully stocked kitchen, 4 Bedrooms, a full bathroom on the main level and a half bath upstairs. There is a large back deck providing plenty of room for grilling and entertaining. It also connects you to a separate room with card table, and full toy chest for the littles (jacuzzi seasonal Oct-April, closed May-Sept). The large living room is ready for you to relax with family and stream your favorite shows. Walk out of the master bedroom to the upper level balcony to enjoy your coffee and great views of the beautiful hard wood forest. The spiral staircase leads you to two bedrooms, each with a twin bed and one with two arcade games (Galaga and Streetfighter) and the other room having a TV. Driveway in front of home offers plenty of parking. There is a shed above home with extra parking if needed or for boat. (Do not block shed door).

The house rests on 30 acres of woods. There is a mile loop of moderate hiking trails leading down to a stream with a cool rock shelf. Trail is shared with seperate rental home in case you see other guests.

This cabin was amazing!! Came for a thirtieth birthday & had an amazing time. It’s absolutely beautiful on the inside and out & very spacious. If you’re looking for good hiking or even something to do with a family, try out spring mills state park about 35 mins away.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time. It was cold but the wood stove kept us warm. This is the second time we have been here and hoping to make it a regular once or twoce a year thing. The hot tub is great to soak in and the arcade games upstairs were fun to have som old nostalgia with. (90s kid here). Would recommend this place to anyone, fun for the whole family

Great Girls Weekend Getaway!

We had everything we needed for a girls weekend. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking and serving. Enjoyed the hiking and view from the porches. Would come back again!

Glamping

Everything was very nice clean The only thing that we didn’t like was the fire pit was way too far away from the house we had elderly people that couldn’t walk that far The coffee pot maker did not work Luckily, they had two coffee makers, I recommend it to anyone. It was a very nice day very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, secluded getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed a friend getaway trip at this property. The cute house was clean, comforable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time together. Nice hiking on the property and surronding area.

Great place

Spacious layout, clean with some hiking trails in the back of the property. Plenty of parking and within minutes of French Lick and Potoga lake.

Cute place!

Rooms were clean and everything worked. We were a little worried because it was pretty hot when we got upstairs but once we set the AC and turned on the window unit on the side with the two twins everything was dandy. Only think to plan for is there is only ONE Uber driver, so if your headed to town and planning to stay late you need to have a Designated driver. We’d totally stay again though! (Hopefully when the hot tub is back to functional)

A-Frame

House was very comfortable. Surrounding area was extremely peaceful. Family was a little disappointed because hot tub was out of commission. Our oldest brother would have enjoyed it especially after golfing. We hope to continue our family reunion tradition and use your unit again next year.

Everything was great about the cabin. It was warm and cozy. We did have an issue with the hot tub having too much foam and only having one wash rag. Other than that it was a great get away. I would recommend to other people.

Excellent place to stay!

Beautiful A frame, lovely, cozy warm decorations and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Hot tub was lovely. Our only suggestions and they weren’t big deals but maybe a shelf and hooks in the upstairs bath for placement of “stuff” and a later check out time would be nice. Overall the best VRBO I’ve stayed at yet! Host was easy and gracious.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, kitchen well equipped, and hot tub was a great perk! Loved the fully enclosed deck to keep little kids safe! A word for parents with small kids. I didn’t understand that there are 2 different upstairs, so rooms were a bit far apart. Bring your baby monitors and you can make it work!

Lovely Stay!

We loved staying in the house! It matched the listing description and was just such a cute, nice house. The hot tub room was a plus, along with the two decks off the back of the house. It is very secluded so the privacy aspect was great. It was about a 12-15 minute drive to French Lick which we liked not being so close to town. Well made home with all the amenities. Will stay here again! Thank you to the host!

Amazing Home and Host

The home was even better than the pictures! Very clean and the kids couldn't get enough of the hot tub and arcade games. We were blown away and it made the home part of our vacation, not just a place to rest our heads.
