Relax with the whole family at this peaceful retreat above a forest of whispering pines. After careful consideration, we have made the upper level of our mountain home available for your enjoyment. The deck overlooks a dense timberland behind the house and has both gas and charcoal grills. The full kitchen has ample amenities for those who enjoy cooking. The spacious living room boasts a lovely sitting area and a 65 inch Smart TV with WiFi.
This listing is the upper level of a 2 unit property. Please respect our other guests staying downstairs. If you have a 1/2 ton truck or greater, we ask you to park it on the street, as the driveway is narrow and there are only 2 spaces available.

Great spot. We have a small Shih Tzu and he loves it here. Clean and nice host. Beautiful view off balcony. Was able to park my Truck and 20’ bass boat in driveway

Check in was easy and host was helpful and had good communication. The deck was a great space to hang out on and grill. The oven/stove was a little quirky and tricky to use. The carpet could use a good shampooing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the basic necessities we needed. The best part was that it was only a 7-minute walk to a family member’s new home in Cobb, which made it incredibly convenient. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

Beautiful and comfortable home

It was a very comfortable stay! Great amenities and very spacious! My only very small note is that the neighborhood has a lot of dogs that bark, and walking through the roads can be a little startling.

Great place

The house was great. Clean. Kitchen was loaded with everything we needed. Back deck view was perfect for coffee in the morning and star gazing at night. Highly recommend.

Nicely appointed, quiet location

We were driving from the CA coast to inland. It was probably about 10 minutes off the road we would have taken, so not bad. Very comfortable beds, we slept well and ready for our long drive the next morning. Nice amenities, everything was clean.

The property was welcoming to my 3 dogs with prior approval. Very clean and a lovely place. The down side was that apparently there is a downstairs section that was rented out the same time that we were not expecting at all. So parking was not the best because we shared the driveway and had to coordinate with one another. Was expecting a nice quiet time for my wedding, so the unexpected company was definately a negative. Had i known it was 2 seperate listings that got booked at the same time i probably would've booked somewhere else. Overall a decent experience, just not what we had expected. Especially since there was no mention of the other booking when i had mentioned we were going there for our wedding.

Cobb Mountain

The house was clean and just the right size for our family! Location was great; however, we were awakened at 3:30 am by downstairs occupants shining lights, entering, closing doors and making loud noises until around 4:00 am. Finally, we were able to try to go back to sleep! Question- is there a specific time to enter without disturbing occupants in the upper unit?

AC was not working. Took a while to get one brought in. Owner was nice but just time we were there the furnace was broken. I like the house and the location but it needs some work. The outside is dirty, the outside trash cans were overflowing. The shower head was not very good. There's no hair dryer. Maybe I'm too picky but....

The neighborhood is both serene and tranquil. You will feel like you got away from all of the stress of city life. And yet, it is minutes from a great restaurant and market, so you will not have to give up any conveniences you may take for granted.

If you like nature, you will definitely enjoy the deck overlooking the timberland in the back. On clear nights, you can see stars like no other place in CA, the way I remember as a kid. Also, Lake County has the cleanest air in CA.
