A quiet and spacious, family friendly home in the country, 10 minutes from main street in downtown Keene. Family Fun in the Summertime!

Beautiful property. The house is big and casual comfy and the rooms were large enough for all of us to spread out without feeling cramped. The biggest hit was the gorgeous pool, which the kids lived in the whole time. The yard is large and open - and great for playing cornhole, croquet and any other yard games, and there is a firepit for a nice "social fire" for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores! .

Perfect Spot!

Brian’s house was very clean, well equipped, and had plenty of space. The kitchen was big enough for multiple people to cook in while also having the breakfast nook for more people to congregate while also having a large living room and dining room. The bedrooms were great - bunk beds for my 3 & 5 year old, room with a queen, and a master with a king and plenty of space for a pack and play for our 5 mo. old. Super easy back to Keene and (important to me) very close to the start line for the DeMar half. Instructions were spot on. 10/10 recommend

Warning to other renters: This house has an attached apartment that he rents to other people during your stay and does not disclose that until your stay. The front door was unlocked and slider door unlocked upon arrival (I had to search the house before allowing guests inside). One door lock was rotted out so we had to deadbolt the door shut.The listing has photos that look great but are outdated. Photos do not represent what the house looks like now. The outside property looks neglected and inside the home seems like it was lived in minutes before we arrived and very cluttered!The fridge was not cleaned and had old food in it. The garage had piles of trash bags and flies. There was human hair in a pile outside leading to the house!The pool was not cleaned due to the water level so low that the filter didn’t reach the water.The deck chairs had mildew and stains on them, the inside furniture had stains that looked like they have never been cleaned.The “sauna” is in a cluttered dirty basementAll over the property is clutter and piles of old wood, used filters, etc. It’s a mess.Fire alarm went off for no reason on the morning we checked out and woke the house up (6am) then turned off again. No explanation to why.Overall we would never stay here again. Positive notes: big living room with a nice space for playing board games and hanging out. Kitchen was spacious and had everything to cook with. That’s it.Very disappointed to spend money on a house not cared for.

Family gathering in Keene

Would give this a 3.5 out of 5.Overall, the space was just what we needed for family gathering. Great kitchen space with plenty of supplies and dinnerware. Bathrooms were clean with a great washer and dryer. The house is definitely in need of some repairs, the most pressing being the deck has several rotting areas. ConsDeck - safety concern, in disrepair, chair cushions dingy. Guest fell back and hit his head when chair leg went through rotted decking. The deck was the biggest safety issue, particularly with two toddlers at house. Grills - filthy and don’t work great (we decided not to grill because of it)Ballister - broke off stairwellGazebo on deck- dirty, stacks of dirty/mildewy chairs insideBedroom - was not disclosed that one bedroom was off of master bedroom. Also, this bedroom was too hot even with fan. Living area was very cluttered- random stuff and lots of exercise equipment - feel like I am in someone else’s space, not Vrbo Shared property ( other rentals) not disclosed Door jamb is broken and door opens even when locked Toaster doesn’t work (but we used air fryer)Coffee pot urn left with some coffeeCorn hole bags were broken and could not be used. Pros Space- great living space for large groupCleanishWell stocked kitchenPool was clean and great to have Ample parking

This house was lovely and perfect for my group staying in Keene for a summer training. True to its description, it was spacious, bright and clean. There was a large kitchen, well stocked and easy to cook in, and ample community space, including a wrap around deck by the pool. There were plenty of rooms which fit everyone’s needs in my group. The house is mindfully decorated with zen decor and feels very peaceful inside. We also loved spending time outdoors, walking around on the beautiful lawn and enjoying the view.Bryan was so helpful and communicative. He was accommodating to our needs and was easy to get in touch with. We are so grateful to have found this spot and would be happy stay again!
