Beautifully restored house on a tucked away street just a few minutes drive from the Brattleboro Food Co-op, an excellent grocery store. Our stay was during a heat wave and we were very comfortable sleeping with mini split air-conditioning in the bedrooms. Located in a lovely, peaceful setting, quiet neighbors and parking off street. This rental would be incredible in all seasons.

Great Cabin!

Stayed here with a group of 6 friends, was a great time! We went to mount snow for the weekend, was very accessible from the town!

Communicative & pleasant

We had an overall lovely stay at Ben’s place. Comfortable beds, great location, easy check-in, and communicative host. There were a number of cleaning issues (the upstairs bathroom had not been cleaned, cleaning supplies in the kitchen had not been refilled, recycling was full inside when we arrived) but once we shared with Ben he was responsive, apologetic, and issued a partial refund. Bedrooms and common living areas were clean and pleasant. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful and we’d be happy to stay again!

Ehhh

No washcloths , no paper towels ,no tissues . Fridge was half full , (seemed odd) . Went to enjoy the sauna one night , that is advertised in the listing. It had a padlock on the door with no code . The “rule book , said to contact owner for the combination. So we were not able to use the sauna two nights , but only one .The sauna was why I booked this place . It was aggravating to need to ask for the code . This place was not cheap . I wish we stayed in a condo that would be set up with washcloths and access to amenities without the need to ask after arrival. I don’t plan to stay here again

I ask that all guests reach out to me at their convenience for a quick phone call to discuss safety and procedures for using the wood burning sauna because not everyone is familiar with the process of lighting a stove. This procedure ensures safe and responsible use of the sauna. I also ask that guests fill out an online waiver which you did not do. During our call I provided the code to the sauna lockbox and the sauna was available throughout your stay. I wish you had reached out about the other questions you had, there are plenty of washcloths and towels available for guest use. It's important to remember that VRBO is a person to person experience and not a resort. I open my home up to guests and I am available at all times during your stay to answer questions and provide assistance if needed. I am committed to a positive guest experience and I kindly ask that future guests take a look at my positive reviews here and elsewhere for guidance on booking your stay. I am well regarded as a fantastic host on many platforms.
