Location, location, location! Hale Ono Loa is located between the Kaanapali resort area and the Kapalua golf courses and world famous beaches. The condo is within minutes of several restaurants and a full service supermarket and only 5 minutes to the best beaches on Maui.

From the spacious oceanfront lanai on the top floor of our low-rise complex you can enjoy the morning sunrise and tropical gardens and then Relax on our spacious lanai. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise, eat your meals, read a book, take a nap, or watch the sun as it sets over blue waters of the Au'au channel between Maui and the island of Lanai. The only sounds that you will hear are those of the ocean.

Our association completed a renovation of the lobby and elevator, with Hale Ono Loa now being the crown jewel of the numerous oceanfront properties located along the west Maui beachfront.

Our oceanfront vacation condo has been completely remodeled and decrorated with the tropical furnishings. You will find it is fully equipped with all of the essential amenities for your comfort. The living room has a ceiling fan, high speed wireless internet, and the 50” flat screen TV has an HD cable box for viewing your favorite shows or events.

The kitchen has granite counter-tops, top-grade stainless steel appliances, including, dishwasher, glass cook-top and range, microwave and solid cherry wood cabinets. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essential amenities for preparing a grommet meal. There are ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom, in addition to the natural Hawaii trade winds to provide the perfect environment for your stay in Maui.

The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and granite vanity.

Your bedroom is both comfortable and spacious, with an eight foot long closet and a large chest of drawers to store your belongings. From this bedroom you can lie on the new Cal-King plush mattress and enjoy the soothing sound of the surf. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom and of course you always have the Hawaiian trade winds for cooling comfort.

The private large pool and sun deck area is surrounded with large coconut palms and numerous tropical plants. These tropical gardens are well maintained; giving you the feeling that you are a part of Old Hawaii. This area is located on the ocean and will provide you with many hours of comfort and relaxation.

During the whale season (November through April) you can watch whales and spinning Dolphins from the sun deck or your lanai. The reef located in front of our complex provides an excellent opportunity for snorkeling, surfing, or just plain watching the surfers and turtles. All this while enjoying the sound of waves breaking on the reefs.
Our condo is equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and a large cooler for your use.

Maui is the perfect place for your vacation or a wedding celebration and Hale Ono Loa provides all of the comforts and conveniences you will need during your stay with us.

Spectacular views

We loved our stay at Hale Ono Loa. The views were gorgeous. It is a very quiet area which provided much rest and restoration. MIt was close to many shops, restaurants and superb beaches.

Beautiful ocean views

Lovely condo. Comfortable bed. Sounds of the ocean and beautiful ocean breezes. Perfect Maui vacation spot. Clean and well appointed with pretty furnishings. We loved sitting on the lania watching for whales. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!! We will stay here again.

We come to Maui often and this was one of the nicest units we have ever stayed in. Richard and Lisa are also very helpful and the unit is wonderfully decorated and the view is perfect. Great location and I would recommend it for 2-3 people. Very small and romantic with all the details. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the lanai and the breeze every morning and afternoon. We got to see the first whales of the season. The only thing I would recommend that would truly make this property even more amazing is if the main building owners of the whole property updated all the patio lounge furniture. It is dated and faded and some of the pieces were broken. Otherwise the property itself is pristine and very comfortable . We enjoyed the turtles and sea life along the sea wall.

Disappointed

We booked the unit for our honeymoon and we’re unfortunately quite disappointed. Lisa provided us with lots of information and an easy check-in process. However, upon check-in things took a turn for the worse. We were greeted on arrival by an infestation of bugs. To the hosts’ credit, they responded quickly and the next day an exterminator arrived. Lisa also gave us a small refund for our troubles. However, the unit needs a thorough deep cleaning. There was dust all over, the kitchen counters were not clean and the shower glass door was dirty. The fabled trade winds did not cool the unit adequately so it was extremely hot in the afternoon and into the night. The view is wonderful and the location is close to all the good beaches. Overall, it was not the experience we had hoped for.

Sadly, this was an extremely unusual situation. In 17 years of owning and renting our Hale Ono Loa condo's and spending at least 6 months of every year in that very condo.....this bug issue was truly out of the ordinary. We were extremely shocked, embarrassed, appalled and realized how horrible it must have been for our guests. We immediately called the building manager and found out that exterminators had spayed the property the day before our guests arrived. Somehow they missed our unit which is another problem in itself. We have since had the unit deep cleaned and have worked with the resident manager to ensure access to the unit for quarterly and as needed extermination. Insects can be a problem in Hawaii and we try our best to keep them away! We are also working with the cleaning company to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness. We sincerely apologize for this unfortunate experience.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!

After arriving in Maui and stopping by Costo to get some groceries (highly recommend) we were so excited to get to the condo. We were truely amazed at how beautiful this condo was! Gorgeous decor, clean, everything you need and the view was amazing!! The owners Lisa and Richard were awesome at always getting back to us if we had questions prior to our arrival, and gave explicit instructions on everything we needed to access the property and condo. They have thought of everything to make this condo user friendly.....microwave, blender, coffee maker, all utensils. There is coolers, beach towels, snorkel equipment, boogie board, blow up rafts even a beach bag if you forget one! All you have to do is show up, and you are set! We did a lot of the touristy things...Road to Hana, Old Lahaina Luahu, Snorkeling at Molikini....all were great! Dinner at Dukes on the beach and dinner at Kimos were awesome!! If you are looking for an entertaining evening, go see the Warren and Annabelles Show in Lahaina..Truely entertaining magic and comedy! We highly recommend this condo and are looking forward to our return in the near future! Thank you Lisa and Richard for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!

Anniversary get away

The accommodations were great. Esp enjoyed the view from the outdoor patio. The unit had everything we wanted to make our trip enjoyable. The only thing that would have added to our enjoyment would have been a direct access to a walkable beach but we found that a short distance away at Napili Bay. The hosts were great in addressing any issues we had. Thanks! We would definitley return.

Amazing stay

This was our 3rd time staying within that complex (1st in this unit) and it did not disappoint. Great stay. Great location. Great communication with the owners. My husband and I would love to stay here again! Zero complaints.

Excellent location

The view from the balcony was spectacular.! The condo was as advertised. Humidity was high while we were there. Being used to AC it was at times uncomfortable in that respect. Otherwise, a great unit and location as well as value.

Beautiful condo at a central location

We enjoyed this property and the location between snorkel beaches and restaurants. There is no a/c in the unit, but the breezes were pleasant. Very fully stocked kitchen, even though we were not cooking.

Quiet and beautiful

Beautiful location and a view you don't want to pass up. Easy access to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Manicured garden and nice pool area. Comfortable and quiet. Nicely appointed with every need anticipated.

Great little get away

This was a very nice condo with easy access. Perfect for a weekend get away. Able to walk into town to local eateries, bars, etc. Beach and pool access.

Great spot on the top floor!

This place is really well done! The top floor setting has great views and catches the breeze. Between the breeze and the fan staying cool is easy, and you don’t even miss the AC. The furniture on the balcony was very comfortable, and the balcony is quite private. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom is spacious. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. It would be tough to think of anything that was lacking. The complex is well located on the ocean. There is accessible beach at low tide, and swimming is possible there. It is also possible to see turtles swimming from the balcony. There is a small market, surf shop, and coffee shop within easy walking distance. Parking was easy and plentiful. The coolers, high class beach chairs, and umbrella that come with the place are a very nice touch. Check-in was easy, and the owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Lisa was born and raised in Honolulu and has always wanted to have a piece of paradise in Hawaii. We both agree that there is no better place on the islands then oceanfront on West Maui.
We both enjoy the ocean activities, swimming, snorkeling, scuba, and kayaking. All of these activities are only a few steps away from our condo at Hale Ono Loa. Golfing is our other favorite pastime, and where else could we find more challenging and beautiful courses then at Kapalua and the many other courses on Maui

After staying at several other condo complex’s that were all along the ocean in Honokowai, we found Hale Ono Loa. We liked this complex because it was large enough to have all of the amenities, like a good size pool, an elevator, and beautiful tropical grounds and yet small enough to provide a relaxing quite environment.
Hale Ono Loa has so much to enjoy, the beautiful sunsets, the soothing sounds of the ocean, watching the whales as they play just off the beach, or the green sea turtles that are located on the reefs in front of our condo.
The pool and the ocean-side sundecks have comfortable lounges for sunning or shady retreats for reading or whale watching. Since there are only 67 condos at Hale Ono Loa, there are never larger crowds at the pool and no waiting for lounge chairs, which often occurs at the hotels and larger resorts
