Private Mountain Get-away

The set up of the house worked great for our group of 16 family members. We enjoyed the open concept layout and sitting on the deck. Love Yosemite did a great job with communication. There are parts of the exterior that were a bit rundown, but we appreciated the surrounding natural beauty.

Extended family all got together for a week and this house was perfect!! There was 12 of us in all and we had enough room. The younger adults enjoyed the game room and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Great place to stay if you are going to Yosemite and want to stay outside the park. If we ever came back, we would totally stay here again.

Everything was perfect! The property was perfect for our family reunion, adults and kids. There were plenty of places for adults to relax and activities to keep the kids entertained all weekend. The view was incredible. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating!

Sibling & spouses Yosemite trip

It was a great place for the 10 of us to stay and enjoy each others company. It had a nice large open living space and the outside space was awesome. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Loved it!

The hosts were great. The house was supper spacious. The game room was priceless. The location was convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed this property.

A family reunion of 16 people was a hit at the Yosemite Sunrise rental home. Over the week of July 4th we visited the local steam train, went horseback riding through the forest, spent a day in the Yosemite valley and then a full day playing on Bass Lake. This great home was a hit for everyone ages 5-75. Great host!!

Beautiful Rural Property

We stayed here with 9 adults and 2 kids (9 & 11). The property was amazing with stunning views. The house was incredibly clean and well maintained. The converted garage into a game room was great for our group. When we arrived one of the ac units in the upstairs bedrooms was leaking. The rental company had maintenance there in under a hour and fixed right away. The repair men were very nice and slipped in and out practically unnoticed outside of us letting them in. The only downside we wished we were informed about was the 2 bedrooms that are adjacent to the garage don’t have separate ac units and tended to be very warm. One of those bedrooms also didn’t have a real door, it was a barn door. The rental company was very responsive, kind and helpful. Also checkout was a breeze and just what you want after a long eventful weekend. We all loved being a reasonable distance from Bass Lake (15-20 minutes) and Yosemite (25-30 minutes to the south entrance) but feeling like we were still out in nature during our down time.

Kitchen- no wine glasses, only 8 regular glasses, cooking utensils scattered in 4 different drawers. No upper cabinets so no space to store things we brought with us. Micro-wave in cabinet almost on the floor, could not see numbers to work it properly. With 12 adults we were constantly washing dishes.Most of the bedrooms had no closets, so no where to hang anything. No mirrors in bedrooms so a big problem when sharing bathrooms with others. Sink in garage bedrooms was so tall it came up to my chest and could not bend over to wash face. House is very poorly designed, way too many stairs and front door is really hard to find.As you can see by my comments we would not recommend this house to anyone and we would never rent again.House description on VRBO is very deceptive. I think for what we paid we were totally surprised with what we got.Definitely not worth the price. Reviews on VRBO must be written by friends of the owners.

We are very surprised by this review, as this home has an almost perfect rating! I'm sorry (and shocked) to hear you did not enjoy your stay, your experience certainly doesn't align with a large majority of our guest sentiment. I recommend taking a close look at listing photos if stairs are an issue for you. Additionally, I would have been happy to help you locate the additional glasses, as this home accommodates 18 people we have flatware and dishes and to accommodate the maximum occupancy. I can assure you the reviews on the home are written by guests that have no connection to the owners (but that was entertaining to read!).

This house was excellent for our huge family to reunite. The house was great, the game room was amazing for all ages. We had eight of our grandchildren there. Not only did they enjoy the playground and the game room, but the entire house. The two Hosts that I spoke to on check in and then again the following day, were amazing and super helpful. The second day we were there I inquired as to where the umbrellas were for the picnic tables because I couldn't find them. We left for the lake for the day and when we came back we were shocked to find two umbrellas!! They had put them up for us at the picnic tables, which looked brand new. That was so unexpected and so kind on their behalf.. very impressive.!! We totally appreciated the experience, the house,and the views. Our family would definitely come back. Definitely would recommend this place! It's also extremely private at the very end of the road no one around us.
