At first, we believed it was a technical issue with our monitoring company, but after further investigation, we confirmed that the camera had been tampered with. Our exterior security cameras are an important part of the property’s safety measures, and disconnecting or manipulating them is a violation of our house rules. We appreciate your stay and always strive to provide a positive experience for our guests, but it is equally important that all house rules are respected. Hello Quincy, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the pool did not meet your expectations during your stay. However, we would like to clarify that no concerns regarding the pool were reported to us until four days into your reservation, after most of your stay had already passed. Had we been notified earlier, we would have addressed the matter immediately. The pool motor issue was unexpected, and arrangements were made to replace it as soon as possible. We would also like to note that the guests prior to your stay did not report any problems with the pool. Additionally, the pool is professionally cleaned once a week as part of its regular maintenance schedule. We always strive to provide the best experience possible for all of our guests and appreciate your understanding.

We strongly disagree with this review and believe it presents a highly inaccurate and misleading account of the stay. From the moment this guest arrived, they repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the property and requested a full refund. When we did not agree to their demands, numerous additional complaints were made, many of which were exaggerated or simply untrue. We were also threatened with negative reviews and social media posts if their demands were not met. The photographs shown in our listing accurately represent the property, and the property is in very good condition. The listing correctly reflects what guests can expect when they arrive. The property was professionally cleaned and inspected before their arrival, and we have photographs and documentation supporting its condition. We have never had an infestation of cockroaches or termites at this property, and no evidence of such an infestation was found during or after their stay. Occasional ants can occur in Florida, particularly after rain, but this does not constitute the infestation described in this review. We also dispute the claims regarding the pool and safety equipment. The pool was maintained, and we had evidence that it was inspected and functioning properly. We made efforts to address the guest’s concerns and offered solutions, including sending cleaning personnel back to the property. Unfortunately, the property was left in an extremely poor condition after their departure. There was also damage to the dryer, and the guest checked out after 11:00 a.m., despite the required checkout time. This delayed our cleaning team and affected the preparation of the property for the next arriving guest. We have hosted many guests successfully and take the cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and privacy of our property very seriously. We welcome legitimate feedback and always try to resolve genuine concerns, but we cannot accept false or misleading allegations made after a guest’s demands for a refund were not granted. This was an extremely unpleasant experience for us, especially as this was the first time we have experienced this type of situation with a guest.
