We loved our stay at Island Getaway! Our host was available and accommodating. The location is within walking distance to the beach, bay and restaurants. We will definitely return.

Great location to walk to beach and restaurants/shops; very clean and they have thought of about everything you might need for the beach.

Great Location

Great location. Mark was very easy to work with and was quick to reply when we had questions. I would definitely rent this vrbo again if we were to return to the area.

Glad you loved our amazing location, where you can see the sun rise about 40 second walk in one direction on our dock (on Bay) and watch sunrise about 50 second walk in opposite direction! Not many places in world where you can do this! Plus all the best restaurants and activities nearby at historic bridge st about 8 min walk away!

Worked great for a 3 night trip away from the snow. Short walk to beach and nice walk to dinner spots.

Great get away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Island Getaway! Mark was easy to deal with, wanted to make sure our stay was up to par & answered questions & concerns promptly. We have already scheduled to go back in 2023 and are looking forward to it!!

Cody beach cottage

Nice and clean and well equipped with all the essentials. Great location, walking distance to beach, shops and Restaurants which was great as parking is at a premium.

It was great having you back! Thanks for mentioning how close we are to beach, shops, and best restaurants. So many people drive to historic Bridge St only to spend so much valuable time searching for a parking space. So, as you said, nothing better than walking there in just about 5 minutes from our most sought after location. Just about a 50 second walk to beach and about 40 seconds to our fishing dock! See you again soon!!

Highly recommend

This place was amazing. The location was exactly what we wanted, walking distance to everything. Check in was so easy and they provided everything we needed! Loved the apartment and especially the location. Highly recommend this property...no pool but the beach was right there!

Great little spot a few feet to the beach or Intercostal

Located at the south end of Anna Marie Island away from the crowds. Everything is newly decorated. The owner is very accomodating!

Perfect!

Had a wonderful 3 day getaway for our anniversary! The property has been renovated and decorated nicely! Just as described on the website!!! Owners are great!

Excellent Location!

The place was on the small side, but very clean and the location completely makes up for it and then some! Walk to the beach, walk to Bridge St, and a trolley stop at the end of the block to explore the rest of AMI. Chris, the property manager, was super responsive and a pleasure to speak with. We would definitely book here again without hesitation!

Great vacation!

Small but cute one bedroom, perfect location across street from beach and short walk to town. New kitchen, good shower. Host Mark was often around and very pleasant and helpful. Free trolley for getting to Anna Maria for great boutique shopping and beautiful beach there, too. Fresh grouper at Star Fish across Cortez Bridge was delicious as were crepes on Bridge St. Will be back!

Great Location

The location was what sold us. The beach and the bay were both so close and it was such a nice walk to get to either. The room was comfortable and clean, everything in order and very accommodating. Loved the laundry facility-- it was super needed! We only ate out once and cooked in our room the rest of the week and it was fantastic-- used the grill as well and it was so nice cooking out and settling in on the patio. We will definitely visit again!

Comfortable Condo with Patio

Beautifully cared for condo; thoughtfully appointed. Loved the shared patio with tables, umbrellas and comfortable chairs. Easy walk to the beach. Mark and Lily were lovely and responsive. They take the extra steps to create beauty and care for it well. Thank you for a great visit!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. Mark thinks of everything to make our stay the best. Unit 1 is very small so be aware. It met our needs but I would have preferred a bigger unit. We spent our days at the beach which was across the street and our evenings were spent playing cards and grilling out in the courtyard. We will definitely be back!

Thanks for your 5 STAR review! Glad you enjoyed our gas grill and courtyard and being only about a 50 second walk to beach! Even though this unit has a sleep futon, it is best suited for couples. Families of 3 or more are better suited in our larger units. Your best compliment of all is that you are coming back! We are blessed to have most of our guests return again and again. We loved this place the courtyard was beautiful. Very quiet except they were doing road repair/construction not the fault of the resort. Would definitely stay here again. Unit is small but comfortable. Good for two people. Chris the manager was very quick to call us back with issues. Loved it!!!!

Amazing Trip

My husband and I just stayed in this beautiful cottage for a week, and it was perfect. The cottage was very clean, decorated beautifully, and had everything (and more) that we could possibly need. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed parasailing and horseback riding close by and enjoyed relaxing on the dock while fishing in the bay. It was an amazing trip. Mark was fantastic! I highly recommend this cottage! You will love it! We will definitely be back!

Slice of Paradise

This was our first trip to Florida and it was amazing. The condo was perfect. Walk to the dock in 1/2 block or go the other direction for 1/2 block and be at the beach. We saw dolphins every evening from the dock. Incredible!! The condo was clean and well furnished. We will definitely be booking here again next year. Thanks again Mark for everything. The Ryan’s

Island getaway

The property was fine,however the total price was much more than the original listing price. Will probably look for something that gives a total price and not so many add ones.

Small but adequate!

I thought the property was very nice. It was small, but it fit our needs for 4 or 5 nights. It was also very clean. Easy access to the beach, bay and a short walk to Bridge St. The property looked to be newly updated. They did a great job. Kitchen had everything you needed, very comfortable recliner. Had what appeared to be a sleeper sofa, and was typical as far as comfort. Bed was set very low, but was comfortable, I think it was a memory foam. Bathroom was small, in fact the vanity was in the bedroom, which was fine. Shower also small, but had great water pressure. The only thing was there a chest in the closet, but it was full of extra blankets and other things, so we basically lived out of our suitcases the whole time. There wasn't really any room in the bedroom since the vanity was in there. It would be nice if they would have had a better place to store your belongings. Washer and dryer was in the complex and worked real good. The courtyard was great! Plenty of room, a number of outdoor grills and tables, also the place was well lit. The complex was really nice, looked like 9 units. While I enjoyed the 1 bedroom, I think I may want to have a larger unit if I stayed for an extended time. You won't be disappointed by the complex. We would love to return for a longer stay in the future.

This advice was helpful and we are exceptionally responsive especially to great suggestions. So, we are putting a nice big dresser in the bedroom closet for clothing. We are also raising the bed with a new perfect height box spring. Keep in mind for your next visit that we are always happy to take of things like this during your stay. We look forward to having you back!

Beach Getaway

Efficient and comfortable - close to the beach and nice outdoor patio area with grills. Quiet and relaxing. Not on the bay water but close. Beach is an easy walk. Great stay! Property manager - Chris - friendly, easy to reach and very accommodating.
