Do you enjoy hiking? If so this is the perfect property for you! Located in Botetourt County, only 10 minute drive to the town of Daleville, Sunnybrook Farm is nestled in the heart of the of the Famous Triple Crown Hiking Trails, with Tinker Cliffs only a mile away. Sunnybrook Farm consists of 9 plus acres where you will find a refreshing pool to relax in or if you prefer a hot tub is available. There is a koi pond you can visit and feed the fish while listening to the frogs sing. In the evening, please come and make yourself at home and join us at the fire pit. The studio apartment is located on the ground level of our home, however there is no entry access to the main house, allowing you complete privacy. Fiber internet and TV is provided. You will also find coffee, bottled water, and a few snacks available as well. Centrally located between Roanoke and Salem, 15 minutes from I81, Roanoke College is only 16 miles away, Hollins University is approximately 15 miles away and 28 miles (40 minute commute) to VA Tech. There are many attractions in the area such as craft breweries, VA Transportations Museum, Center In The Square, Tubman Museum of Art, are just to name a few. Mill Mountain Zoo, along with fine dining, coffee shops and seasonal concerts in Daleville and Roanoke are also popular activities many enjoy. We welcome you to come and enjoy this little piece of paradise and watch the sun rise through the tree tops as the deer graze in the rolling fields.

Very nice aesthetically pleasing studio. It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We were in town for a concert and this place was perfect for our getaway.

We loved our stay. Laura was a terrific host. She was communicative and quick to support when any issues arouse. The space was perfect. My friend enjoyed the pool and hot tub while I worked. I definitely recommend Laura’s place for anyone on a road trip or looking for a quiet retreat.

A favorite!! We returned here for a second stay because of the beautiful setting, the amenities that make a perfect haven for a stop-over on a long trip (refrigerator, pool, coffee options). So thankful for close proximity to quick morning hike (or a long one!).

Beautiful, clean and spacious. Had everything we needed with the extra perks of a pool and hot tub. Both were incredibly clean and perfect after a long day of hiking. Great location, close to trails and town

Great Stay

Went for a weekend hiking trip and it was a beautiful space to stay in. Everything was clean and amazingly decorated. We loved the hot tub and the location.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. As stated in the listing, the outdoor area, pool included, is a shared space with the homeowner. Guests are always welcome to join us if we are outside enjoying the facilities. We will not use the hot tub while a guest is in the hot tub. We aim to provide guest with an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Quiet, remote getaway

Stayed here while fishing in the area. Beautiful, quiet location with no outside noise or distractions. Very pleasant and economical stay.

The property was amazing! Perfect getaway and peaceful nights. The pool and hot tub/patio were beautiful! Easy check-in instructions, helpful notes in the room (like for the hot tub), and super clean. Hiked nearby trails and went kayaking in a close reservoir.

The room was incredibly clean & well kept. Everything was great from inquiry to check out. Pleasant spot for soaking in the wonderfully hot, hot tub both upon evening check in & in the morning. We were slightly surprised by the occasional noise from the family upstairs, but felt our area was private.

Overall the stay was great! Communication was fantastic, the place was nice and cozy. The walls are a little thin but it wasnt too much of an issue overall.

Overnight Stopover on trip to SC

Place is as described. Comfortable, and the outdoor hot tube is relaxing after a 6 hour drive.Nice quiet country location too!
