Our family visited for a wedding and had a great trip! We had a fantastic time at this historic home. It was fun to learn about the history and be able to walk to so many locations in town. We would recommend this rental and would gladly stay again if life brings us back to this area!

Loved that your property was within walking distance of the downtown area. Perfect place to hang out and playing games. Also had private areas if you needed time to yourself.

Very happy with our stay!

Extremely close proximity to downtown so easily able to walk places. Also though close to downtown quiet neighborhood and very pleasant. Adequate space in the home for our group, beds very comfortable. Very happy with our stay. Thank you

Perfect set up for a wedding weekend in Hutchinson. The hair/makeup artists appreciated the wedding suite. We used the house as a home base for the bride and her family. The house was neat and clean. Note that no condiments are left at the house (including coffee) so come prepared. Grateful that we were able to enjoy this pristine property and its wonderful original character.

Wedding Party

The property was perfect my wedding party! There was a bridal suite, and a really cool room with exposed brick walls. Very spacious, was a great property!

A charming house, very comfortable and relaxing. Adequately outfitted without being cluttered- a very calming and welcoming environment. And incredibly bright and clean.Our beds were comfy, the kitchen had what we needed, and the kids had a great time playing foosball in the basement and monopoly in the living room. The location was great- a block off the main drag, lots of shops, food, and parks within walking distance. We had a wonderful weekend stay in the Craftsman Cottage :)

Wedding Weekend

We stayed at this wonderful 1920’s era home for our daughter’s wedding. The home was charming and met our needs so well. The owner/manager’s communication was very prompt and they provided a fire pit (our request) for our use during our stay. What’s more they even provided a bundle of firewood! Overall a very good experience!

Girls Weekend

The house had a lot of charm and history. There was enough space for us to spread out, sleep comfortably, and hang out in different areas of the house. The large dining room table was our main hang out spot and for our girls weekend tradition, we shared a pie in the little basement speakeasy. It was close to the many shops on main street, the McLeod County fairgrounds, and a winery. We would book this house again.

Weekend stay

This house is gorgeous! You can see every intentional detail and care in the restoration. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Close to downtown shops and restaurants. Easy to get the taxi in the evening. We really enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable living room. Plenty of space for all of us to get ready at the same time in the house before our event started. Can’t wait to go back! Easy (sit down or drive thru) coffee shop across the street and my favorite pizza from the sports bar.

Very pleased with our stay I would however have property sprayed for bugs inside We did see several. Also may be unaware there is a wasp nest high above the side door and we did see many wasps flying around the window area next to the door.

Perfect house to host a small wedding party. Beds comfortable. Good water pressure from the shower. Quiet. No “old house smell”, very clean, don’t have the squeaky floors common to old houses either. We had several single ladies coming into town for a wedding. It was very comfortable and had many unique amenities and character that made it special for a wedding weekend. Great place to host the bride and her ladies getting ready and a quick bridal shower the morning of. Kitchen well set up to provide a nice spread for food and a living room for the women to relax.
