Iguana Studio. Vegan, Nature, Free Bikes & Beach

We are a little, lively community at Quinta Salamandra, ! You will be living among nature, pets, birds , geckos and some other iguana in the sun . Our buildings are very tropical , lots of wood ladders, decks, and terraces. .We are in direct contact with nature . Fresh breeze all the time. If you dont expect something exclusive and fancy , and what you are looking for is to merge into authentic mexican community life, this is your place!
The space
YOUR PRIVATE STUDIO:

This tropical studio has a Caribbean vibe with its fresh breeze through the mosquito netted windows.

It has a double bed sleep comfortably through the night.

You have a private bathroom with a shower.

Great WiFi to do the work you need. There is also a private work table with wood banks in your room to work or eat at.

THE PROPERTY:

KITCHEN:
We have a community kitchen and dining area open to all who are staying on our property. You are welcome to use it or you can choose to have restaurant service from our in- house Vegan Tiger exclusive Chef : Marcelino , who will prepare you the greatest vegan and vegetarian meals. Green juice , fresh fruit , coffee and eggs for breakfast , and an assorted menu that includes vegan hamburgers, pizzas or whatever Mexican dish you feel like trying for lunch and dinner .

YOGA TERRACE:
Yoga terrace is there for jungle meditation, yoga practice or just to take a breath. There are private yoga classes offered for those who are interested.

POOL:
We hope you enjoy many dips in our little, refreshing pool while you stay with us.

HAMMOCKS:
We have set up hammocks around the property to relax among our tropical trees.


BIKES:
No need to worry about renting a bike to get around. A bike comes with your room/per guest. With the beach being 4min bike ride away or the center of Playa Del Carmen being 10min, we want to make sure our guests can get to where they want to go. Only in case of bike loss there will be a $2,500 pesos fee.

PIZZA OVEN:
We have an amazing pizza oven on property where we love to have pizza nights. Make sure to ask host if you are interested.

VEGAN CHEF:
Marcelino will love to cook up his specialties for you if desired. See the pictures of food that he has cooked for guests.

THE CLOSEST BEACH:
The closest beach is beautiful Punta Esmeralda just 4 min bike ride away. You will also find our local refreshing natural cenote there that flows into the ocean.

PARKING:
There is plenty of parking in front of the property.

TRANSPORTATION:
There is a constant bus around the corner which will bring you straight to downtown Playa del Carmen, Walmart or Center for just $9 pesos .
Other things to note
We have a private beach Club in Grand Coral just two minutes from here on bike or eight minutes walk. The beach is lovely, wild and very private. For using the beach club facilities you just have to consume $350 pesos in drinks or food per person and you can be there all day.

The public beach at Punta Esmeralda is free and an open for all. Just a 4 min bike ride will get you there. It also has a cenote and a sweet water spring that flows into the ocean.
