The views from this private, 6-acre retreat near COSBY, TENNESSEE are spectacular: Across the beautiful valley, guests can see the landmark “Hall’s Top Mountain”, and off in the distance stand the mountains bordering North Carolina.

Don’t be surprised to see lots of wildlife during your stay, as Mountain High is a popular place for deer, turkey, birds of all kinds, and even an occasional bear!

Mountain High’s rustic charm will remind guests of the pioneer days in Southern Appalachia, with rough sawn timber and antiques throughout.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! The location was beautiful, and the views were incredible. One of our favorite parts was waking up to the most amazing sunrises over the mountains — especially the morning when the fog was rolling through, and the mountains were barely visible. It was magical.We were in the area for the Overmountain Rally and also spent time exploring the Appalachian Trail. The cabin was the perfect place to come back to after a busy day of exploring, and we honestly wish we could have stayed longer.Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing mountain getaway!

Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe the view! Everything we looked for had been exactly as it was described. Will 100% be visiting again! Close enough to the hustle and bustle but secluded enough for maximum privacy!

Very scenic view from the porch. Sunrise is gorgeous to see. The cabin is frozen in time and looks cozy and simplistic with a warm feeling. Also in a very nice location with stores and restaurants nearby with good food

Had a great experience staying here! Quite a large place for only 2 guests. Plenty of privacy, fairly quiet, and spent a lot of time on the large porch and in the hot tub. Easy drive to some National Park trails, and Walmart is just down the main road, which was unexpected but convenient. Would stay again!

This was the perfect getaway for my husband and I and our dog, Josie. The views are outstanding, there is privacy but you are still close to restaurants and shopping. We will be back!

A General good cleaning and dusting is recommended. All windows and door glass very dirty We found a cockroach in the kitchen, which made for additional expenses for disposal plates, cups, and silverware. Had to throw away opened cereal and bag all snacks. Convenience to Walmart and places to eat. Quite. Close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The facilities are in excellent condition. Hot water, heat, gas fireplace, hot tub, oven, bathrooms, showers all work. Location is just far enough off the path to lose yourself but still close enough to the grocery store if you need something.
