A spacious open concept living/dining area provides ample space for guests to socialize while cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen.The oversized porch is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the lake while enjoying coffee or to entertain while grilling on the Big Green Egg. Cozy up by the fireplace and play board games on chilly nights or sit by the fire pit overlooking the water. The home provides 2 full bathrooms stocked with luxurious toiletries to include shampoo, conditioner and body wash as well comfortable beds with hotel grade pillows and linens! Minutes from coffee shops, dining and grocery stores makes this home convenient in so many ways! Looking for activities?! The Tryon Equestrian center is less than 30 min away! Perfect for family

We really enjoyed this location. Easy short walk to the lake. Kitchen was great and had a nice assortment of pots and pans and dishes. Our grandson loved the bunk beds and the climbing wall in his room. The view of the lake from the house was stunning. We would definitely return to this location in the future.

Bridal Get Away

The bridesmaids and bride enjoyed this house, which had great views and hosting amenities. Late night coffee from your coffee bar station was what we needed after the wedding rehearsal. It was great to be together the last few hours before the I Do! The sunrise over the lake was absolutely beautiful from the back porch! Host was quick with responses and with offerings. Thank you!

Beautiful Property - Peaceful and Serene

We booked a week at the Bowen Bungalow over Thanksgiving. We found this place to be quaint and relaxing - perfect for our family getaway. The home is nicely situated at the end of the road making the experience private and quiet. The porch is generous in size offering ample seating and gorgeous lake front views. Similarly, two of the bedrooms and the living area look out to the porch/lake offering indoor views as well. There are games provided, which we all enjoyed over the holiday and plenty of kitchen appliances and dishes and pots and pans for cooking a big meal (we hosted 7 people for Thanksgiving). The beds and furniture were comfortable and accommodating to our group. We would definitely stay here again when we return to visit extended family in the area. We loved it so much we wished we lived there. Book this place; you will not regret it!

Lake House

We recently stayed at this VRBO property on Lake Bowen in South Carolina for a family trip, and although our visit was due to a sad occasion, this home provided such comfort and relaxation. The house was incredible, and the lake views were absolutely beautiful. The dock was a huge plus! We spent some peaceful time fishing right there, which was a great way to unwind and make some family memories. Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations. It felt like a cozy home away from home, and we'd absolutely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway. Thank you for helping make our stay so memorable!

Joint family getaway weekend

Very clean and spacious house with amazing views of the lake. Stars were incredible at night, as were the sounds of the owls. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, not far from local amenities either.
