This was/is a great house! The views are amazing and the layout is great for families. The 'care taker' is a great guy and keeps the grounds and pool looking great. It is a 2 min drive to the store/'downtown' Hermosa - perfect location.

The pool and view are like no other. I already miss it! The house is stocked and comfortable. It is very well air-conditioned, and the casita at the bottom of the property is perfect for guests who would like a little separation from the main house. We heard howler monkeys almost every day we were there. The Playa Hermosa area is beautiful with lots of great restaurants to choose from. The property management company was prompt and thorough in their responses to our random requests. The on-site property manager was AMAZING and helped us every day with navigating our stay. Thank you Javier!

NOTE: This is a review of the property not the property management company. ZINDIS was amazing and the only reason our trip was even bearable.First and foremost, the property is not private. Even though the listing says the entire home, there is a "maintenance" man that lives in a room in the lower level of the property and has access to all of the outsides including the patio and pool area at all times. Second, the property is not in great shape. There was a missing windowpane in the master bathroom and the pillows in the guest cottage were covered in hair and smelled. The toilet sets were almost falling off in two of the bathrooms, and the dishwasher does not fit the space and sticks out into the kitchen area. Lastly, while the listing notes this is a family friendly property, if you have small children like we did, the statues and artwork in the house and yard are rather graphic and depict both erotic sex scenes and exaggerated genitalia. While these may be suitable for adults, we didn't feel they were suitable for children. I have added a couple of photos for awareness, but there were many more in each room as well as all over the property.

This property exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully maintained, with stunning architecture and landscaping. We enjoyed discovering the many sculptures and pieces of indigenous artwork, which added to the unique character of the home.The infinity pool and breathtaking ocean and hillside views were the highlights of our stay. At night, the changing pool lights transformed the space, creating the perfect ambiance for evening swims and relaxing conversations under the stars. Between the comfortable poolside loungers and the additional seating areas on the terrace and indoors, there was always a wonderful place for everyone in our group to relax and take in the beauty of Playa Hermosa.The bedrooms are generously sized, and the air conditioning and ceiling fans worked well throughout our stay, keeping us cool and comfortable.The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. Like most vacation rentals, a few items show their age, but that never detracted from our enjoyment of this exceptional home.The house manager and groundskeeper were both friendly and helpful, and the cleaning team did a fantastic job preparing this very large house. The property was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for a truly relaxing vacation. We did not want to leave!

The staff were absolutely excellent. Very professional and attentive. They responded to us swiftly and were extremely helpful. The property is an excellent shape. It is well-maintained and clean. The kitchen is extremely well supplied. The groundskeeper insured that the pool was clean and the towels were refreshed every couple of days. The location is exceptional. Situated on a hill between Hermosa and Coco with breathtaking views. It is very easy to access excursions, the beaches, and a variety of very good restaurants. We had a wonderful time and look forward to coming back. Andy Cooper

Absolutely amazing…..

This property was simply stunning. Every bit as beautiful as the pictures. The views of Playa Hermosa were amazing.The property was very well kept, clean and spacious. It has an onsite groundskeeper.Zindis property management was always in communication. And Alex Bustos was beyond helpful and friendly. He made our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay overall and appreciated both the beauty of the property and the responsiveness of the hosts. The view truly is as stunning as pictured and was one of the highlights of our trip. Communication was excellent - questions or requests were handled quickly and reliably via WhatsApp, and checkout was very easy.A few things future guests should know: January and February can be quite windy. The wind caused water from the pool to blow up and made pool use pretty difficult after about 10 am, and we also noticed some rattling doors in the main bedroom due to the wind. There is a groundskeeper who comes by discreetly; he was very kind and helpful (and only speaks Spanish), so don’t be alarmed if you ever see him. A friendly cat also stopped by every morning, which we enjoyed.The house was thoughtfully stocked with beach towels, toiletries, and even reusable shopping bags (which aren't free at the stores). The filtered fridge water was excellent and honestly better than the bottled jugs provided. Wi-Fi was reliable in the main house but did not reach the casita. The casita has its own water heater, allowing for multiple showers at once, but simultaneous showers in the main house were challenging. We did encounter quite a few large bugs in the casita, so additional spray or traps would be helpful. The dishwasher didn't work so well; hand-washing was much better. The stove and oven looked intimidating at first but functioned well once we got used to them.

Property had the most amazing view. Our favorite was waking up between 4:30-5am to get a great sunrise experience. The evenings also had an excellent sunsets. Overall the house was very clean and the host let us check in early which was a big plus for us. The AC works great and the home was well stocked for anyone who like to cook. We cooked/grilled most nights. The home has 3bdrms/ 2 baths and the separate guest house had an additional bed and bath as well. The home does not have a kitchen table only table top counter. Although there is space there should they chose to add one later. There is ample dining space outside great for lunches or early dinners. The pool was the perfect temp. We used the screen net to clear it of a few bugs but other than that the pool was plenty big enough for a family of 5 with 3 teens. I’d say 56” deep and on the shallow end about 36”. The bed in the master is 2 twin mattresses to complete the king size. They are on the firmer side. I would recommend that maybe they provide a pillow top sheet so that you can’t feel the seem between mattresses. The master has 2 bathrooms. One is a commode with sink the other has a huge shower and 2 sinks. It also had its own deck where the views are incredible. The main family room does have a small tv area and a general seating area. The general seating area had far more comfortable couches. We slid the tv over to that area to watch the World Cup matches. If my family could stay here forever we would! Buena Vida!
