Great holiday

My husband & I stayed in the house with 2 other couples January/25, the pool & yard is beautiful, we had Howler Monkeys nearby almost every day, it is in a great location & very close to the beach, the bedrooms are all very nice, the kitchen needs some work, cement counter was terrible & the cupboards are falling apart, the pictures need to be updated. Overall it was a great holiday

Perfect spot

We loved the home and the fact that every bedroom had a comfortable king bed. Open floor plan and multiple outdoor locations to enjoy a meal together (table by pool, also table up on rooftop deck). Very clean pool and beautiful home. Very close to a grocery store, restaurants, and the beach!

Beautiful Beach Home

Our group of six enjoyed every day of our stay in this beautiful home! Everything we needed was provided for this visit. We felt welcome as soon as we entered the front door. Marie is a fantastic host and we had great communication during our stay. The pool is beautiful and is maintained daily. I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful house steps from the beach

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Circa Del Mar. we traveled with our family of six (“kids” ages 20, 17, 12, 10). The house was a perfect size. Potrero is a lovely dark sand beach and the house is just steps from the beach. We enjoyed cooking at home and also trying a few of the restaurants in town. The hosts were incredibly attentive, making the check-in process super smooth and checking in with us via What’s App throughout our stay.

This was our second trip to the area, and we absolutely loved everything about this house. Proximity to the beach and communication was stellar. We truly enjoy the pool every day as it is a shaded area. The house is absolute perfection, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

A great place to stay!

We took our first trip to Costa Rica for Christmas with 3 adult children and significant others. It was a great experience and this property was just right for us. Three first floor bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a master bedroom upstairs was perfect for our group. Each room has its own AC unit. Marie the property manager was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We rented golf carts which were delivered the day we arrived and Marie arranged to meet them at the house for the drop off before we arrived. (If you want golf carts in Potrero, look up Chip and Jennifer Little. They’re awesome too). We had chef Gustavo come and cook Christmas breakfast for us which was fun and delicious. His contact info is in the guest materials. The beach is across the street. Not the most beautiful beach in the world, but nice to have nearby and an easy walk south to the Potrero restaurants. We took the kayaks out one day and had a great time. The pool area is very comfortable when you’re not out and about, and a landscaper came and tended to the pool and yard almost daily. I highly recommend this property. I would definitely stay there again. Marie is awesome!

Best Vacation Rental Ever!!!

I could rave all day about how amazing this property and host was. The beach was a super short walk away, and the hosts were so helpful and kind all the way from booking the property until the day I left. I would definitely visit again!

Amazing location and close to everything

I loved this property. It was very clean, very comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, lots of space, nice pool, very beautifully landscaped, right on a very nice and calm beach (perfect for kids), well stocked, very quiet neighborhood and secure (Electronic gate, alarm system, etc), and it was very close to everything, especially Flamingo and Las Catalinas. The owner was amazing, very friendly, very helpful, and very welcoming... i accidentally left my $250 portable Wi-Fi at a restaurant the night before we left, and didn’t realize it until i was half way back to the airport. The owner went and got it for me and is going to mail it to me. Exceptional property owner, and amazing property. Will definitely stay again!

Awesome house!

We loved our stay here! Our group was 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 8-13). The house size was perfect for us and the location was awesome. The house manager was unbelievably helpful and kind. We would definitely stay again!

Great spot for many activities. Walk to market and restaurants. Fishing out of Flamingo was excellent for yellow fin tuna.

Paradise PURA Vida style!

House was fabulous! Loved the location very close to Potrero beach!😎 we rented 2 golf carts from ECCR. Easy & fun way to get to many areas. Christelle is a wonderful property manager! She was so helpful from booking of house to organizing taxi & suggestions for tours!

Better Than Pictures Can Describe

Our stay here was perfect in every way. The pictures don’t do it justice. Just a few steps away from the beach and very close to restaurants, grocery & more. Playa Flamingo is also just a 5-10 min drive away but we preferred the relaxing, calmer water of Playa Potrero, the beach you see in the photos. This is THE location for perfect sunsets. Also a very cool little restaurant about 5 min walk down the beach called Las Brisas. The house was very clean with a great setup for our group. Loved having a king size bed and bathroom for every room. Also felt very secure with the electronic gate and alarm system. Communication with Christelle was easy with WhatsApp & Sylvia, the housekeeper ensured our arrival, departure and cleaning were flawless.

Absolutely fantastic!!

This place exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent with great restaurants very close but the best part was the beach. It's clean and quiet and so close that you can listen to the waves at night. The top "crows nest" area is wonderful for looking at the ocean and listening to the wildlife especially in the morning or at sunset. And the pool is kept immaculate by Benito the gardener who cleans it early in the morning. The beds in every room were so comfortable we didn't want to leave them. Well appointed kitchen great dinning area. We can't wait to come back. Christelle and Chan are awesome and will bend over backwards to make sure you have a perfect stay.

Good location

The property was in a good location, far enough away from the congested areas and close enough to the necessities. The home was clean and the maid was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our flight did not land on time due to lightning and weather and we arrived at the home much later than previously mentioned to the property manager. If you plan to stop and grab some supplies or lunch before driving the hour to the home I would suggest informing the manager of a later arrival time, as the maid will be waiting for you to arrive. Con is that the home does not have a contactless entry upon arrival.

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our recent stay at this property. Everything was as described and actually the photos don’t do it justice. A quick walk to the beach and to town where you find groceries and amazing restaurants. Highly recommend!!!

A Family Gem

The process was warm and professional from beginning to end. The Manager, Christelle, introduced us to Erick who organized drivers/guides for us. We saw and learned so much from them. It was a perfect house for a intergenerational family. Five stars all atound.

Family Vacation

We had a very pleasant experience. Christelle was very helpful several times including getting taxis, scheduling required Covid test for our return trip, scheduling a massage, fixing something that wasn’t working properly, and answering questions. She did her best to make us feel welcome and what we needed. The house is very much like advertised. We felt safe there and had the beach close by. Some things we wish... 1) That the beach was a little cleaner (not the fault of the property or manager). 2) That we were closer to activities. All excursions were 30 minutes to 2 hours away. The airport was an hour too and cost over $100 by taxi (again, not the fault of the property). 3) That there was a bigger supermarket (grocery store) nearby. There was a little market, but it was limited. (Not the fault of the property) 4) That there were some board games, books, balls, sand toys on location. (They DID have kayaks and pool floats for use, which was nice.) 5) That communication initiation had come a little sooner with details for the trip (but she did respond when we promoted). Overall it was worth it and a very nice time.

It was love at first sight! A unique 3-level home in a quiet exclusive neighborhood...Beautiful private garden... Monkeys visiting the mango tree next to our own pool... The sounds and sights of the ocean from our master bedroom...How much better could it be???

The big plus of this villa is location: mere steps from the beach, and close to restaurants, convenience stores, and bars. The beach skirts the protected warm safe and picturesque bay ideal for swimming- no hidden rocks, no riptides. Despite these ideal conditions, we've seldom seen more than a handful of people on the beach at any one time, lending the feel that the bay is all yours to enjoy!

We highly recommend a visit to Playa Penca, just North of Las Brisas. It's an exquisite little beach with white sands, great shade trees, and crystal clear water. Two miles in the opposite direction is the equally spectacular Playa Flamingo. Don't miss it!
