This top to bottom remodeled house gives you all the comforts of home while on your much needed getaway. Whether a family vacation, or a weekend away fishing with friends, we provide everything you need to simply show up and relax. Perfectly situated next door to the Kipling Boat launch & Bayshore Tackle, provides you the ease of on/off access for open lake/ice fishing, or family kayak/boating fun.

Home Features: a queen bedroom downstairs, 4 matching twin bed bunk rooms upstairs, a sleeper fold out, and 2 deluxe air mattresses. Providing more than enough sleeping accommodations for everyone in your group. One bathroom with shower on main floor. Endless amenities include: High speed internet, (2) Smart TVs, oversized Deck with furniture and Gas Grill, fish cleaning station, dart board/board games, Washer Dryer, and ample parking for trailers, boats and ATVs. Kitchen Includes everything you would need for small appliances, utensils, and cookware. Also provided all linens, towels, bedding, and paper products.

Clean and close to beach and downtown.

House was clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. Enjoyed being close to beach and restaurants. Host was always pleasant and quick to respond to calls.

Good for what we needed

This was a comfortable roomy house with the essential needs. We were only there for one night but would have been very happy to have spent more time there. Everything was in working order and it was very clean.

Enjoyable stay! Excellent home at and communication!

We stayed at this property with dogs to attend an agility show in nearby Escanaba. The house is very clean, and was an affordable and convenient option for our 3-night stay. It was a little toasty upstairs in July with no aC, but the provided fans were very helpfully and appreciated. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. There are train tracks nearby and the trains are noisy when they pass. However, this occurred minimally and wasn’t that huge of a deal. Host is very pleasant & accommodating; we made use of the driveway at the next-door house, (also owned by host), for my Jeep and kayak trailer. I would definitely rebook in the future. 😊

Comfortable home

We had a good stay here and would happily book it again. It was unusually hot while we were there and there is not A/C (which isn’t unusual for the area) so we were hot! The shower is also really tricky/confusing. Those are just thing to know as you consider booking but this is a nice property overall.

Convenient For Fisherman

Very convenient location for fisherman, a stones throw from a nice, free boat launch. Clean place with parking for 2 boats. No outside electricity, but close enough to house to run extension cords from internal outlets.

Clean little spot just right for us.

The key fob was a bit difficult to maneuver, but the manager helped us through it. I would have liked to have had a check out list of things to do. We were a little unsure of what to do with used linens and where to leave the key. We couldn't get the key back in the fob holder so we left it on the table. The property was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for a memorial for a family member.

Fished Little Bay De Noc

We came up to fish little bay de noc. Fished most of our time. The location of the house was really nice being across from the boat launch. Parking is very small. Fits 2 trucks. No room for trailers. We did park along side of the road and it worked fine but there was no snow this year. The house size overall was good for 7 grown guys. The 1 bathroom was very small. The toilet and vanity are on top of one another. The shower was decent but water pressure wasn’t very good. Overall the stay was decent just pricey for what we got.

Review

The house is very clean and newly updated. It’s in a great location close to Gladstone and Escanaba. Many trails to walk/hike and many things to see. Lots of cute diners breakfast and many good restaurants around.

Our second trip to UP MICHIGAN

We have planned a trip to Munising with the family but why we stayed this far beyond an hour drive is because we have a family pet. This place is cozy, with nice bedding and more than any thing Phil is an excellent host. He was in touch with us before our trip with constant inquiry about our stay trip has been smooth with daily communication. A+ place and definitely will stay here if i travel near Escanaba area in future. If you have a boat, the docking site is only few feet away.
