Cozy Cottage near Expo, Pets Welcome!

Enjoy the warmth and hospitality of our Icelandic Amma (grandmother) who called this place home for more than sixty years. Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath house is cozy, comfortable, and centrally-located in midtown Tulsa; within walking distance of the fairgrounds and less than 5 miles to downtown Tulsa, BOK center, excellent shopping, and dining.

This house is perfect for families, stocked with a wide-range of books and toys. Newly remodeled and furnished with brand new mattresses, pillows, and bedding, as well as ceiling fans for adjustable comfort. Great option for remote workers with a dedicated office space, strong wifi, and a ROKU enabled 65” TV. Full kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker & Keurig, blender, and crockpot, as well as in-house washer & dryer. Cabinet is stocked with basic spices and olive oil.

We have thoughtfully remodeled the house with Scandinavian style in-mind…simple, minimalist, and functional. We’ve kept Amma’s 1950s bathroom, in all its pink and teal glory, as a nod to the bright buildings often seen in downtown Reykjavik. Let our cozy home inspire you to spend some time like Icelanders – prioritizing comfort and well-being.

Pet friendly and perfect for families, we have a wide-range of books, toys, and children's dinnerware, as well as a pack-n-play and air mattress. Check the office desk for Icelandic-themed coloring pages and a special Scandinavian Scavenger hunt (all things found inside the house!)

Great place to stay in Tulsa that is close to everything but not right in the middle of the busy city. House is charming and functional. This is our second time staying in this home and we absolutely love it !

We had a wonderful time here for Easter. The backyard was great for a egg hunt! I do think the home needs a air purifier, other than that no complaints! We hope to come back next year !

I have rented places all over US and-Europe. This is one of my favorites. I love the Scandinavian decor and the 60s- era bathroom, which is a gem. (But has great modern showerhead). The house is super clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, the neighborhood charming. The fenced yard is a big plus with a dog. And Alicia was a very prompt and friendly communicator. A perfect experience!

Wonderful stay!

We were in Tulsa for the horse show at the Expo Center and the house was perfect for our stay. Perfectly located, with a nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Great communication with the host, with an easy check in and check out. The house was very clean and comfy. It had everything we needed and was well stocked, we did not run out of anything. It had a great fenced in back yard so our dog could run and play while we relaxed on the patio. We will definitely try and stay here again on our next trip.

Just what I needed

Stayed for work, and the simple appointments made this home feel clean and comfortable. Had everything I needed. Though I didn't have the pups with me this time, the yard looks sound. Quaint neighborhood, I felt safe.

Cozy home, pet friendly

We really enjoyed our stay. Alicia communicates promptly, and felt welcomed in the home. We traveled with our 10 year old son and 2 dogs. Alicia had dog food and water bowls ready and a protective blanket to be used where needed. My son really enjoyed to study and fenced backyard. Loved the paintings, pictures, and extra decorative touches. It was a great location for us as it was easy to get to downtown and Broken Arrow. There was a neighborhood Walmart very close to the home. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet. We stayed 2 nights. Alicia worked with us regarding our arrival time.

Amma’s House was the perfect place to stay in Tulsa. Clean and tidy in a quiet neighborhood and close to most attractions. All the amenities of home were there.We would definitely stay there again. In fact, I don’t know if I’ll ever stay in a motel/hotel again, lol.
