Our stay at the Breakwater was absolutely amazing. The villa was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the water. Would recommend this property everytime!

Great stay at the villa. Check in was seamless and the living area, bedrooms and bathroom was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need to make food for any meal of the day.The outside area was beautiful with a million dollar view

If I could give a ten star I would. The hosts, Cheryl and Stu, are so welcoming, attentive and always available to answer questions. The grounds are lovely, the view amazing. The unit is top of the line with every amenity you could want. Lots of towels, linens, kitchen needs. All new appliances and lovely furniture. Beds are so comfortable and washrooms are huge. There is lots of outdoor seating, a barbecue. Lobster pot and pizza oven.Cheryl and Stu have put so much time, thought and consideration into these units.I can’t express enough how impressed we were and how much we enjoyed our stay.Would highly recommend a visit .

Amazing condo by the ocean. Very quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly owners. Will definitely make it back.Thank you both for your warm reception…and the pickle jar, hope to see you one day in HHI

If you are looking for a well priced upper scale place to relax overlooking the beautiful ocean, look no further! Top of the line finishes, bedding, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings and outdoor furniture are only some of the attention to detail that Cheryl and Stew provide in this retreat! They respond very quickly and are great hosts! Thank you both, we will be back!

Cheryl and Stu have a great spot in a fabulous location. They anticipated our every need. The rooms and kitchen are well appointed and the bathrooms fabulous. We enjoyed Mersey scallops on the bbq. Sitting on the the deck front and back was a great way to enjoy coffee or cocktail We even had s’mores at the fire pit! The deer romping around in the morning were an added bonus

This property is spectacular. The pictures are beautiful but it is even more beautiful than the pictures! Stew and Cheryl are great hosts and very responsive. The villa is beautifully decorated, property is well maintained, clean, safe and so relaxing. The view is breathtaking. What an incredible gem!! I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed!!!

We had a perfect stay at The Breakwater! The unit was clean, new, tastefully decorated, and full of light. We ate two meals a day in the kitchen and it was equipped with everything we needed. Sometimes, we ate outside on the patio which was so peaceful and private. A gorgeous view of the river greeted us every morning. Brooklyn is a picturesque little hamlet in a great location for exploring the South Shore of Nova Scotia. If you like nature, history, and beautiful walks, I highly recommend it! It's a bit like the Acadia area in Maine, but without the crowds and tourist traps. Our favorite things were:Beach Meadows Beach which is only 10 minutes drive and lovely.Kejimkujik National Park Seaside.Hirtle Beach and Gaff Point Trail.Port Medway. Medway Head Lighthouse (go when it's open).The people of Nova Scotia - They are so welcoming, friendly and interesting!Thank you so much to Stew and Cheryl for being excellent hosts.
