This home delivers a rare combination: a stunning private pool area paired with direct beach access you won't find just anywhere. It was the perfect backdrop for a mini reunion with friends — definitely unforgettable!

My kids loved the private pool the most I think! But our whole family had a relaxing trip with each other! The private beach was literally the best! With small kids that was a lifesaver! No complaints really except having to bring your own toilet paper and handsoap. That's a trivial thing though really. Also with small kids, just be aware that there is some beautiful antique furniture. If you have kids you know what I mean. We had a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderful location!!

We loved our stay - this is a gem of a property. It has its own private beach right out the back! And a pool as well! We felt very welcome and enjoyed our visit immensely. We'd stay here again for sure. Thanks!

Great location

Private beach was nice, pool was clean, Property manager was very thorough. Left parting gifts as well. House is dated but very clean. Overall nice time there

When looking for a rental for my immediate family's vacation it was hard to find exactly what we were looking for. Seven adults and three small grandkids, this property was perfect. We had private off-street parking to accommodate 4 plus cars, a private pool, and access to our own private oceanfront beach all in one location. There was no need to leave the property if we didn't want to. Mantoloking NJ is located 1 1/2 miles from Jenkinson's boardwalk and 1 mile north of Seaside Heights boardwalk in a very quiet neighborhood. Restaurants nearby were great if or when we wanted to go out. But that wasn't really necessary because the house is fully equipped and anything we were missing could be provide by asking the owner. The owner what can I say about Joanie...she is a very warm, friendly and accommodating person. The extra touches she provided were very unexpected. What other host leaves fresh flowers on the day we arrive not to mention gifts for my kids and grandchildren. I guess over all my comments could be summed up by my three-year-old granddaughter.... who told Joanie that she was going to stay for 10 weeks We would have if we could have. I highly recommend this spot with all its charm. Note the pictures do not do it justice. We will be back and maybe next time for 10 weeks Aunt Joanie!

It was an extreme pleasure to host this wonderful family at my Oceanfront beach property! The entire family was friendly and respectful. Communication and planning went smoothly. There was NOT a single complaint from these very easy going guests. The children were well-behaved and a delight! Their beautiful dog was friendly, quiet and a very welcome part of the family! They left the home clean and tidy. I look forward to many return visits from this family, who during this trip, laid the groundwork for a LIFETIME of MAGNIFICENT SEASHORE MEMORIES, and will forever be welcome in my home! ❤️ I highly recommend these guests to other prospective hosts!

Fantastic

Joanie was so welcoming and her property was incredible with an exceptional location. I spent a birthday here with friends and couldn’t have imagined a better property or a more attentive and generous host! 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants to spend time on the gorgeous Jersey shore. We would absolutely rent again!

Mantoloking Getaway

Joannie's house is amazing from the beautiful, in-ground pool. It takes one glance at the crowded public beach to realize the benefits of a private beach. Joannie is a wonderful hostess, warm and welcoming, and her house squeaky clean. We will rent again.

Private beach! And pool! Beachside!

This property is a one of a kind beach house with an amazing host! The house is literally on the beach - a private beach that you get pretty much all to yourselves! Not only that, but there’s a pool in the backyard! Joanie is a phenomenal host that can get you anything you need at a very reasonable rate (beach chairs, surf board, umbrellas, etc). She followed up immediately on any small issues we had and was so warm and welcoming to her house (her home really). The property is from an older era of beach houses, and has a lived in feel that makes it feel more like a home stay than a rental house.We loved it and you absolutely cannot beat the location and the beach!

Amazing Location !!!

You can't ask for more, beach house 10 steps from your own private beach, that even your dog can enjoy !!!! On top of that one of the few properties with its own pool, lovely. Property needs some upgrades, adjustments and fixes, but you can't complaint if you want a beach house, because you are 10 steps away from your own private beach. Thank you so much Luis

Beautiful beachfront home with pool, a spectacular family experience

This home is spectacular. It’s located right on the beach (private) and has a lovely pool. The home was very comfortable and provided a once in a lifetime experience for a special family. The owner went above and beyond to prepare the house and make it just lovely. She enabled everyone to have the best time ever. We can’t say enough about all she did to make this special time memorable. Special thanks to her. It was truly a dream come true to stay in this Jersey shore home.

Wow! I loved my stay at this beautiful, charming beach house! When you walk out of the door, you step onto your own private beach with a breathtaking view to the ocean! We barbecued a few feet away from the ocean waves! The hostess Joanie is a sweetheart, very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable like at home. She surprised me with a lovely welcome present. Check-in was super easy and the house and pool were very clean. I loved the woodwork and the beautiful cathedral ceilings. This beach house is a true gem: you have your own private beach all to yourself, with lifeguards nearby and without any crowds. I am planning on coming back soon.

Amazing!!! I highly recommend this home!!! I was impressed from the first second on. The first thing I saw was the beautiful pool in the backyard which my children thoroughly enjoyed for hours. Then, I walked through the patio door into the family room; the feel of the space was warm and gravitating. I found the kitchen, family room, dining room, bedrooms and baths exceptionally clean. When you walk out the rear of the house, you have a large, completely private beach. Picture this: dad, mom and two kids, four us, on 60 feet of completely private Atlantic Ocean shoreline! OURS ALONE!!! We spent most of the entire day on the beach, returned later in the evening and stayed until 2 am, admiring the moon and the stars while grilling burgers and hotdogs and sitting around the campfire telling stories and roasting marshmallows for our s'mores. Next evening, we went to the popular boardwalk in Seaside Heights, which is only 5 miles away, and enjoyed the weekly fireworks show and the entertainment on the boardwalk. We made use of the onsite paddle board rentals and lessons from Joanie, our hostess. Joanie treated us like family. Let me also add that it was a big plus that our dog was able to accompany us on our family vacation. Great getaway! We plan to return for many years to come.
