Beautiful home but no host support
The home was beautifully decorated and spotless. My family enjoyed each having their own room with a television. The pool table is not regulation size and the legs are wobbly, but it still functions. There are no darts for the dart board probably because there are tons of holes in the wall from previous people missing the dartboard. The neighborhood is very clean and I felt safe walking early in the morning. The kitchen has everything you need, but there are no amenities in the bathrooms such as shampoo or soap. The biggest issue was communication with the host. I was not provided any instructions for checking in. I had not received the code for the door until I requested it the morning of the day I was supposed to arrive. I was not told that the home is located in a gated complex. There was no information at the guard gate regarding my stay. The guard gate told me that the host needed to add my name. I had to contact the host to add my name so we could enter the property. This is something that should’ve been done ahead of time. We specifically rented this property because it had a pool and spa. There were no instructions in the home about usage of the pool or spa. When I contacted the host I received one word, broken English answers. There was no welcome booklet or any info about the complex or amenities such as community pools. This could be a five star VRBO, but the host needs to work on communication.
